“I’m still standing” Day 2
We had another eventful W.O.O.T. Group Zoom call this past Tuesday! Big thanks to all who joined! Who's ready for Day 2?! Focus Scripture: Daniel 3:17–18 (NIV) “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it… But even if he does not, we want you to know… we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” Dear Resilient Sister, Today is not for the faint of heart. This is the kind of day where heaven watches closely—because today, we choose to stand even when we don’t know what the outcome will be. Welcome to Day 2 of the “Though He Slay Me, Yet Will I Trust Him” Challenge. We are walking with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego today—three men who stared down the furnace and stood flat-footed in faith. They didn’t flinch. They didn’t fold. They didn’t negotiate with fear. They stood. Because their faith wasn’t tied to the outcome. Their faith was tied to who God is. That’s today’s challenge for us. To cultivate the kind of fireproof faith that says, “I know my God is able… but even if He doesn’t, I will not bow.” What to Expect for this Challenge: We’re pressing into what it means to develop unshakable faith We’re confronting the lies and fears that try to make us back down We’re learning how to stand even when we don’t know how it will end And we’re writing our own declaration of bold, unflinching trust in God Today is your moment to say: “Even if it doesn’t go how I hoped, I still trust Him.” Let those words settle into your bones. Speak them out loud. Let the fire hear your faith. Under the "Course" tab above, you will find your Day 2 Reflection Worksheet. Use it to reflect, to go deeper, and to declare your stand. Start with the trial. End with the truth. This is your faith in action. Sis, you weren’t made to break in the fire. You were made to rise in it. And today, you rise—with a faith that will not flinch. Let this be the day you draw a line in the sand. You will not bow. You will not back up.

💭 Thoughtful Thursday 💭
A Theologian created a quote that I have held almost as close to me as scripture because it speaks to a time in my life of immense anxiety and fear… "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." During this time in my life I allowed fear, doubt and shame to control my reality. I had anxiety and panic attacks, was prescribed Psych meds, given mental diagnoses and was even sent to a Psych ward because of suicide attempts. The problem was, I didn’t know who I was in Christ. I didn’t realize the power I had access to if only I’d believe and receive what God had for me. It is critical to understand your identity in Christ to be able to stay grounded and sane in a world of chaos with an enemy seeking to kill, steal and destroy you. I started believing what God said about me. I began recognizing the lies of the enemy and rebuking the influence He had gained over me. I rejected worry, fear, doubt and shame and excepted my new identity in Christ… A child of the Most High God. Blessed and favored. Beloved and protected. Forgiven and free! I stepped into the call on my life and began walking that out. Here I am today, delivered from all forms of mental issues, Psych medication, anxiety, worry and fear. I have this ministry to show for it! Glory to God!!

The Serenity Prayer is something I've taken on in my life recently as a sort of motto and we were even talking about it at school the other week! Awesome
Our scars are a testimony!
“He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭147‬:‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬ A lot of the time, our instinct is to hide our scars. To cover up our wounds and ignore the pain. Understandably! A lot of the time there is embarrassment, shame and pain associated with our scars. I challenge you to face your past and find the purpose in your pain. Otherwise, you can find yourself bitter and stuck in a cycle of grief. The scripture above reminds us that we have a creator that made us with the ability to heal. To forgive and be forgiven. To grow and learn from our experiences. Whether the trauma originated from an outside source; Abuse, Assault, Abandonement or perhaps bad decisions you made as a result like Addiction, Abortion, Adultery… our scars, no matter the source, remind us that healing is possible. Scars remind us that although we may have been hurt, we overcame what tried to take us out! Show your scars and tell your testimony! I drew that picture many years ago not realizing I’d be using it for this purpose! God uses broken things
Our scars are a testimony!
