We had another eventful W.O.O.T. Group Zoom call this past Tuesday!
Big thanks to all who joined! Who's ready for Day 2?!
Focus Scripture: Daniel 3:17–18 (NIV)
“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able
to deliver us from it… But even if he does not, we want you to know…
we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Dear Resilient Sister,
Today is not for the faint of heart. This is the kind of day where heaven watches closely—because today, we choose to stand even when we don’t know what the outcome will be.
Welcome to Day 2 of the “Though He Slay Me, Yet Will I Trust Him” Challenge.
We are walking with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego today—three men who
stared down the furnace and stood flat-footed in faith.
They didn’t flinch.
They didn’t fold.
They didn’t negotiate with fear.
They stood. Because their faith wasn’t tied to the outcome.
Their faith was tied to who God is.
That’s today’s challenge for us. To cultivate the kind of fireproof faith that says,
“I know my God is able… but even if He doesn’t, I will not bow.”
What to Expect for this Challenge:
We’re pressing into what it means to develop unshakable faith
We’re confronting the lies and fears that try to make us back down
We’re learning how to stand even when we don’t know how it will end
And we’re writing our own declaration of bold, unflinching trust in God
Today is your moment to say: “Even if it doesn’t go how I hoped, I still trust Him.”
Let those words settle into your bones. Speak them out loud. Let the fire hear your faith.
Under the "Course" tab above, you will find your Day 2 Reflection Worksheet.
Use it to reflect, to go deeper, and to declare your stand.
Start with the trial.
End with the truth.
This is your faith in action.
Sis, you weren’t made to break in the fire. You were made to rise in it.
And today, you rise—with a faith that will not flinch.
Let this be the day you draw a line in the sand.
You will not bow.
You will not back up.
You will trust God—even here.
With fireproof faith,
by Dashonia Marie
