🚨 Are you carrying a boulder... or a backpack? 🎒🪨
Sis, true story: It is completely possible to love people fiercely while still keeping your yard fenced. Too often as believers, we confuse "being our sister's keeper" with "carrying our sister's daily baggage." We over-extend, over-function, and swallow our own needs out of a desire to please people—only to end up exhausted, drained, and battling silent resentment. Even Jesus set boundaries. He walked away from demanding crowds, took naps in storms, and chose His inner circle very carefully. If the Savior guarded His peace, you are allowed to guard yours! Today, we are breaking the chains of people-pleasing and learning exactly how to teach people how to treat us. 🗓️ Mark Your Calendar! - 📅 When: Every 2nd & 4th Tuesday - 🕗 Time: 8:00 PM EST / Live on the Skool App - ✨ The Vibe: A raw, honest, completely safe space for believers where we take deep theological scripture and apply it practically to everyday life experience. 🎁 What to Expect Tonight: 1. Interactive Chat Game: We are playing "Boulder or Backpack" to figure out what is actually your responsibility and what isn't. 2. The 3 Circles Blueprint: Learn how to love certain people from a distance without feeling petty or guilty. 3. Tools to help you communicate your boundaries clearly and effectively. Cant wait to see you all tonight!

We've been on the subject of people pleasing for the last month on HISR
An attitude of Gratitude
I have nothing spectacular to share, nothing eventful to be excited about and honestly not at my personal best… what I will say is in spite of all that, God is still good and I am extremely blessed. I have so many things to be thankful for and I just wanted to encourage someone today to keep your eyes on the prize. Stay in the race. Look to the hills from which cometh your help. Never allow what you see to hinder what you believe. One way I stay level headed is by starting my day with an attitude of gratitude. No matter how bad it seems, when I remind myself that I have eyes to see, ears to hear, a sound mind, and a Savior that won’t give up on me, I rest assured knowing he is in control working all things out for good. Love you all! 💞 Encourage yourself in the Lord 🙏🏽

Sketch ✍️
I always enjoyed drawing but haven’t felt inspired to in a long time. Woke up this morning and sketched this on a clip board with a pencil and make up. It kinda came to life! Thought I’d share…

“I’m still standing” Day 2
We had another eventful W.O.O.T. Group Zoom call this past Tuesday! Big thanks to all who joined! Who's ready for Day 2?! Focus Scripture: Daniel 3:17–18 (NIV) “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it… But even if he does not, we want you to know… we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” Dear Resilient Sister, Today is not for the faint of heart. This is the kind of day where heaven watches closely—because today, we choose to stand even when we don’t know what the outcome will be. Welcome to Day 2 of the “Though He Slay Me, Yet Will I Trust Him” Challenge. We are walking with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego today—three men who stared down the furnace and stood flat-footed in faith. They didn’t flinch. They didn’t fold. They didn’t negotiate with fear. They stood. Because their faith wasn’t tied to the outcome. Their faith was tied to who God is. That’s today’s challenge for us. To cultivate the kind of fireproof faith that says, “I know my God is able… but even if He doesn’t, I will not bow.” What to Expect for this Challenge: We’re pressing into what it means to develop unshakable faith We’re confronting the lies and fears that try to make us back down We’re learning how to stand even when we don’t know how it will end And we’re writing our own declaration of bold, unflinching trust in God Today is your moment to say: “Even if it doesn’t go how I hoped, I still trust Him.” Let those words settle into your bones. Speak them out loud. Let the fire hear your faith. Under the "Course" tab above, you will find your Day 2 Reflection Worksheet. Use it to reflect, to go deeper, and to declare your stand. Start with the trial. End with the truth. This is your faith in action. Sis, you weren’t made to break in the fire. You were made to rise in it. And today, you rise—with a faith that will not flinch. Let this be the day you draw a line in the sand. You will not bow. You will not back up.
