kooky creature in search of tribe
Hello everyone. I am Leia: a burnt out teacher wanting to makes a career change and struggling to find myself after events imploded my life. I have no current diagnosis but after a lot of reading have concluded I must be Audhd. I really need support to find strategies to help me move forward. I want to connect with community and make friends along the way in the hope all my odd parts can reconnect as an imperfect kooky whole functioning creature :) Nanoo nanoo!

Hi Leia — I’m really glad you’re here. ❤️ Your description of trying to reconnect all the “odd parts” into a whole honestly resonated with me a lot. I’m AuDHD myself, and before diagnosis I also spent a long time feeling burnt out, disconnected, and trying to understand why life seemed harder than it looked for everyone else. You’re definitely not alone in figuring this out step by step — many of us arrived here through reading, recognizing patterns, and searching for community first. This feels like a really supportive place to do that. Also, “imperfect kooky whole functioning creature” might be my new favorite description. 😊 Welcome to the tribe.

Hi. I'm Jerri from North Carolina. I'm a retired and I'm transitioning into AI space with digital art and using that art in the business I've started. This is where I noticed my ADHD brain. I haven't been diagnosed with ADHD, but I sure can related to what is being shared. I definitely want to finish what I start. So I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Hi Jerri — welcome! 😊 I really relate to what you said about recognizing your ADHD through your work and interests. I actually self-identified mine first too and later brought it to my doctor, which eventually led to a formal diagnosis. Sometimes we notice the patterns long before the paperwork catches up. Also, transitioning into AI and digital art sounds incredibly exciting — I have a huge interest in AI as well and love seeing how creative minds are using it in new ways. Wishing you so much success as you build and grow your business. So glad you’re here!
Introduction - I hope....
I think my adhd showing up now.... I can't see where to add an introduction, and even saw someone else had the same questions and I don't know where the field that would have the "+" in the upper rh corner is... so par for the course. lol I"m Lynn from NYC; a 72 year old retiree and interested in embarking on a new career as a Reiki healer and I'd like to not have all the issues that have hobbled my success in the past! I am vegan for a year and love looking at recipes and figuring out how to veganize old favorite recipes. I'm also a musician - singer and play folk guitar and ukelele. I have a husband and a cat and love them both dearly and I am quite a reader, usually manage 15 books a month.

Lynn, you sound absolutely amazing. ❤️ I love that you’re stepping into something new and meaningful — especially pursuing Reiki and a new path at this stage of life. That takes so much courage and curiosity. Also… musician, vegan recipe creator and reading 15 books a month?? I’m genuinely impressed. I’m so glad you’re here — it already feels like this community is full of really inspiring people. ✨
ADHD brain + mystical creative saying hello
Hi, my name is Ashley, I’m from Ohio, and I’m a tarot reader, writer, and professional collector of creative ideas I’m deeply passionate about for approximately 3–5 business days at a time. 😅 I’m building my spiritual business, Moonroot Divination, while learning how to work with my ADHD brain instead of trying to force it into systems clearly designed by people who have functioning executive function. I have experience with hyperfocus marathons, burnout recovery naps, starting seventeen notebooks at once, intuitive problem-solving, and somehow turning chaos into creativity. You can ask me questions about: • Running creative or heart-led projects with ADHD • Managing energy when motivation comes in unpredictable cosmic waves • Creativity, intuition, and making meaning out of nonlinear brains I want to get these things from ADHD Harmony: 1. Systems that don’t collapse the second my dopamine disappears 2. Community with people who understand the “I know what to do but cannot do the thing” experience 3. Help turning big visions into consistent, sustainable action For fun, I like to: 1. Spending time with my animals (who are honestly my emotional support accountability team) 2. Writing stories and working on children’s books inspired by my horse 3. Rearranging my life, planners, or furniture whenever my brain needs a reset Something meaningful to me: My home, Grace Cottage, and my animals — they’re my grounding point when my mind is moving faster than my nervous system can keep up. They remind me that growth doesn’t have to be linear to be real. ✨ Also curious — what’s everyone else currently hyperfocused on… or lovingly procrastinating?
