Just lit the match! 🔥 "The Architects' Authority Lab" is LIVE.
Hey Flames! 👋 I’ve been devouring the Mojo content and decided to stop overthinking and just take action. I realized I wanted to "retire" from the grind of convincing architects to do marketing. So, I pivoted. Today, I launched: The Architects' Authority Lab 🧪 The Movement: Helping firm owners retire from the "RFP Grind" and writing unpaid proposals. The Mechanism: We build "Permanent Assets" (Educational Email Courses) that attract clients on autopilot. The Mojo: - Simple: One offer (The "Client Primer" Course). - Scalable: Fulfillment is handled by my AI Chatbot (no more manual ghostwriting hours!). - Sustainable: Running monthly auctions to sell the setup. My "Hand-Raiser" post goes up on LinkedIn this Tuesday to get my Founding Members. Big thanks to @Travis Sago for the "Movie Producer" mindset shift. I stopped trying to be the "Marketing Guru" and just built a Lab where we can experiment together. Feels good to have the fire lit! 🚀 (No link needed - just celebrating the build!)

Feedback on auction copy
Would love some feedback on this auction copy. Will post to my FB profile for now. ===== Auction: Want to 2X to 5X your next webinar? I'm upgrading my tech for 2026 and instead of writing a check, I wanted to make this a little more fun. I did some quick math and estimated that I've helped clients add well over $20M using webinars. I recently did a session for private clients (many who pay me 5 and even 6 figures per year) where I shared step by step how I took one client's webinar from $20K to well over $600K. While most webinar experts focus on improving the pitch and delivery, the real boost happens outside the webinar. Till now, this training has only been available to private clients... ...and I'd like to release it now. How much? You tell me. 👉 Put your bid below 👇starting at $1. 👉 Auction ends when I think we’ve topped out. 👉 ALL bidders get access to ONE training. 🚀 To your success, Alex P.S In less than 12 months, this webinar host used what I shared to add close to 7 figures to their business. I'm NOT saying this can happen for you - I just wanted to share what's possible when you know what profit levers to pull.

Annual Software Auction
IF, I found a company willing to auction off a 1 year license for it's biz dev software, does it have to be only one winner and the other high bidders get a different offer/package? Or can we auction off multiple 1 year licenses in an auction (and tap in the rest with a different offer/package)? Or does that de-value the auction? Curious if others have tried this.

@Kevin Pettie(EDIT) just seen this is an old post... but I'll leave my answer anyways. Watch the 6600 email (it's in pop up and the group). @Travis Sago goes over how you can turn one winning bid into multiple buyers at same price (ethically) by giving the actual winner an additional bonus and also asking his permission to make the similar offer to those few that also almost had the winning bid.
Giveaways or Auctions first?
If you had to pick between the two - which would you launch first? I'm curious as AppSumo exploded their email list many years ago by doing a DropBox (lifetime access) giveaway (i.e. anchoring a market leader and then offering non-winners a discounted coupon). However, I see auctions as a way to go "straight to the money" (for lack of a better term) to get bidders first as opposed to freebie seekers first (Giveaways). Thoughts? 😊

So many variables that can go into making this decision. but the biggest one is this: You can do an auction in the next two days and have money pocketed. A contest/ giveaway/ sweepstakes / raffle (illegal pretty much for most of us unless a nonprofit -but there are ways around it) You'll be running the giveaway for a week....a month...maybe even two months depending on prize size and value. > Think those home or RV giveaways. They might be 6 months or a year even. So certainly you can do both, but I'd start with the auction. then do your giveaway with the goal of it being focused on virality either thru specific platform algorythms, or SaaS like Upviral/ Gleam.io etc. Typically people put off buying your product while the contest is in play while they are hoping to win it. It's actually best to have a prize that is not what you are selling but related. To get the most virilaty you'll actually want to run a hybrid contest / giveaway. A contest being where someone earns the most points and wins on merit. The giveaway one can win on luck of the draw and usually you'll have incentives to share your giveaway to get more entries (as well as you should have a freebie right up front to entice people to enter no matter what). This is two ways of incentivizing Sweepstakes are great. They are paid to enter, but more of a learning curve for laws so that you don't turn it into a raffle. So, auction first. Then viral giveaway. By time giveaway is over and you made your sales you can be holding another auction within a few days/week.
What is the Average % You've been Negotiating for Your Splits?
In like Beamer, is the result still typically 50/50? or in this scenario because of the mechanism has it been seen a lower number has been working better to make the terms tastier? I have someone on my radar...they offer mid-high ticket dfy service around 8K. But I notice outwardly, they may not be very open to more even splits as even their affiliate program for their Skool group is only 20% and does NOT include the upsells they make inside (and their whole game is really upsells unlike many groups where the low tier includes a good bundle of interaction inside the group).

@Steffen Leidicke and you are right...T always reframes things to be so agreeable with a slight tweak in language. Never ceases to impress me.

@Travis Sago 🙏 ok thank you.... I was misunderstood a little and I'm sure it's my fault... I was only referencing if we aimed for rev share at the same levels (bc I have no experience yet personally if possible partners perceive doing an auction as too easy to share as much?) yes. mental masterbation at it's finest sigh. and FIRE is mostly about creating and owning. Think I got it all straight now. I"m slow learner these days. Gracias, again. P.S> I hope you and Jeannie and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday!
