👀🔥 Visualization Challenge Until X-Mas (who's in?? comment below👇)
Here's how the challenge works: You visualize one of your favorite events every night before going to sleep for 3-5mins (no longer). Why? (I give ya the summary, if you wanna watch the full training it's here) - You mentally rehearse your starts, pacing, technique, turns and finish. - You go thru the motions of the call room, walking out, stepping on the blocks so that when it happens in the 3D world, your mind knows what's coming next and will be very calm and focused (instead of worried or scared). - AND (this is the most transformational): When you touch the wall in your visualization and see the outcome that you work so hard towards, you will automatically be put into an emotional state of happiness, joy, excitement and passion. This makes you the best version of yourself when you wake up the next day and as a result of that, your final preparation will be better than otherwise. 📮 Then the FOLLOWING day you comment on this post that you've done it. The goal is that you do it (and let us know) EVERY.SINGLE.DAY (and yes, that means you have to login Skool 1x per day) ACTION STEP: Comment below "I'm In!!" and share when your last competition before X-Mas is. Then see you in the comments of this post tomorrow. Then the next day. Then the next. The next... you get the point ☺️ Let's do this as a team and hold each other accountable. Encourage others where you see fit. Share what works and what doesn't if you feel like it. SWIMPROS on 3!!!

@Alexander Wilian Ah, makes sense. Unfortunately I don't really know about those suits since I've never had any 😔

@Olivia Woods I love it if I don't want to wear my skins for warm up but don't have long between that and my race! Can definitely recommend. And it's fun when all of my friends are complaining that it's taking so long to put theirs on! 🤣
Last SC of year
Just home after a crazy long day at a meet. Some good new PBs again today which I am very happy about. 400 Free 5:09.13 first time to swim this in ages so happy to get a new time on the books. 🥇 100 Free 1:06.30 first time this season to swim this 🥈 100 Back 1:18.98 happy about a new PB that's under 1:20 🥳 100 Breast 1:23.63 PB 🥈 200 IM 2:43.17 🥈 40x50 relay (was the slowest of the 4 this time but after 12 hours at the meet just had nothing left in tank). 🥇 All in all a good season so far. Looking forward to see how this translates into the LC.

Well done Olivia! Some awesome results and PBs! No one can blame you for being tired at the end of the day 💤
Training tonight
While this isn't competition results, I still wanted to post about it because it was such a huge personal achievement tonight. This is also quite long (sorry not sorry 🫣) Last season, I really struggled with my mental health, and so any hard sets in training, particularly IM ones, would usually end in tears and panic attacks. This would then lead to me getting caught up in all the waves and falling further and further behind those in my lane. I dreaded the days when those sets were, and just didn't particularly enjoy training at this point. My coach wasn't particularly supportive - just thought I wasn't any good any more, and so that generally made it even worse. For the last few weeks on Monday nights, we have been doing hard IM sets, gradually increasing in volume and intensity. Tonight, we warmed up for about half an hour, and then coach called us all over to the whiteboard to explain the set. 10x400 IM When I first looked at it, I did start to panic a little, but I started breathing and calmed down. Once we started the first one, I began to find my rhythm. It was all about consistency, so I settled into it nicely. I've also had a long term struggle with fly, but that has recently improved, and tonight I could hold it through all 10. Each time we started the next one mum said that my stroke looked refreshed - unlike last season where she said it used to look more like a drowning fish 😑😅 I was comfortably going second in my lane, and got through the first 9 quite tidily. Then the last one was pushed. We had some extra rest beforehand, so I reset and pushed it properly. After the set, coach shook all of our hands and said well done to us individually. I made him play a game of spot the difference. I told him that 'picture A' was any IM set last season. 'Picture B' was tonight. I made him acknowledge to me what was different. The three things he said (with a bit of help from me) were that 1. I wasn't crying, 2. I finished it, and 3. Zero panic attacks. Like I said, it's not comp results, but a massive achievement for me. It not only represents how far I've come with my mental health, but also proved to myself that I can do 400 IMs (also hate these and panic in a race). Overall, I'm really proud of myself tonight. Not only for doing it, but for doing it well and positively. Sorry again for it being so long 🫣

Nationals qualification!!
You have to be 16th to qualify. Very happy with the results!! In Sweden: 50fr - 27.70 (5th) 50br - 35.94 (14th) 4x100fr - 4:08.44 (1.01.48) (9th) 4x100 individual im mixed - 4:29.89 (1.10.58) (15th) 50back- 32.42 (17th) 4x100im - 4:42.63 (100br - 1.17.05) (17th) I was sick 2 weeks and I only trained 3 times before the competition. I competed with ear-infection and antibiotics aswell😛(I got the ear infection Fridaynight so stressed a little bit and thought that I was not going to be able to compete) So I wish for better circumstances before nationals in January to do my absolute best and have fun!! In my region: 50fr - 1st 50br - 1st 50back - 2nd 4x100fr - 2nd 4x100 individual im mixed - 2nd 4x100 im - 2nd Overall I had a so fun competition, looking forward to nationals!!

Well done Tuva! Those are some awesome times and results - keep it going! It's so annoying when you're I'll before meets (I've had the same recently), but you did so well!! In my opinion, the fun comps are the best comps. Good luck for the next one!
