Learning Month 1
I am still figuring out how to lead my sales team. I recently employed 4 comission only sales rep and one internal outbound and one internal inbound sales staff. I find myself wondering if I'm guiding them correctly.. Only 1 of the commission team members are actually functioning The outbound sales guy isn't pushing several products he's focused on one and isnt showing initiative to learn more The inbound is doing okay but could be more aggressive in collecting reviews and following up with customers. It has only been one month but I think I need to set the pace here before it becomes the system

Hey Krystal! Don't know why I didn't see this before. When it comes to commissionable sales reps - organization and giving them all the tools they need to be successful is one of the most important things from their end. - Do they have all the collateral that they need? - Do they have all the tools they need? - Do they have all the training to be able to position their products effectively? From a sales process point of view: - Where do deals fall off? (Is it at the discovery call is it at the presentation call?) From a training and development standpoint - the outbound rep that isn't pushing several other products that needs to be addressed and if he/she isn't showing a willingness to learn and adapt AND isn't performing then that is a hard conversation that needs to be had there. For the inbound rep needing to be a bit more aggressive - what does "more aggressive" look like? - Are they stopping at the first no? - Are they not objection handling? - Are they not pushing for the next meeting? Identify what are the specific things that they need to do better and train on those SPECIFIC things. Usually reps won't understand what a leader means by "be more aggressive" but they will resonate with "at the first no try to say this. Now lets roleplay it" Hit us up if you have anymore questions!
Throwback Thursday! Where it all began.
Starting Foundations wasn’t just a business decision. It was a leap of faith. No safety nets. No playbook. Just conviction that there was a better way to help early-stage companies build real, scalable revenue. It’s been messy, rewarding, and everything in between, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Grateful for the dream team beside me, and for every client who’s believed in what we’re building.

Winning Wednesdays
I love when a good plan comes together! This week Me and @Daniel Edwards met in person and made significant progress on our new social strategy. Whenever putting together a comprehensive plan, we don't just look at what needs to be done and approximation - but certainties so that when it comes time to execute - we simply follow the steps that we laid out. - Trial different softwares to know for a fact which one works - Do a time audit on how long different tasks take - Put together a budget of SPECIFIC platforms, AND what they each bring to the table. - Put together a RACI chart of who is responsible for what on any given basis. - Make sure that plan integrates seamlessly into each of our systems. It takes a lot more effort and work to put these kind of steps in place. BUT When all is said and done - it is undeniable what work/effort will be done on a weekly/monthly basis and what the outcomes will be!! Lets each share some wins down below!! What win are you proud of?

Throwback Thursday!
I learned about discipline from a very young age. When I was in grade 2 my parents put me in Karate. This was in part to learn self defence but also to build good habits and discipline. I had to work hard. I had to push myself My brothers were also at the same dojo which made slaking off - impossible. We had a competition coming up for where we would represent our dojo. I practiced HOURS and hours my kata (a detailed choreographed pattern of martial arts movements) and I remember this moment like it was yesterday. 3rd Place - didn't call my name 2nd Place - didn't call my name I thought "man... I guess I didn't win". The thought of me winning the whole thing didn't even cross my mind. 1st Place: Ari Barmapov. I had won. In the moment it didn't feel like it. It felt surreal. It was simply a byproduct of the hard work. You feel excited when you win something that you didn't earn. You feel relief when you win something that was hard earned. FINALLY everything you worked hard for came to fruition. This is why if you want something REALLY want something. You need to be willing to endure the pain that it will inevitably take to achieve it. All of those hard earned hours put in to achieving your dreams at the end you will get that relief. Might not be today, might not be tomorrow - but it will happen.

WINNING WEDNESDAYS!!!
I called Arun through our Hubspot Dialer. Because of the AWS issues today - something funky happened and wasn't sure if I connected or not. Got a HubSpot notification that Arun had called me back. I texted him. We had a nice 8 minute conversation and I booked him in for a meeting with Zac. How many people would have sent a generic and boring email. How many people would have done nothing? I kept my texts short I kept them specific (why I was reaching out) I texted like a HUMAN BEING In real life we are one way and when we talk to a person that we've never spoken to we are another way. Why? It doesn't matter if I'm cold calling or if talking to a client or i'm talking to my wife. You get Ari. If all you ever do is be yourself then you never have to pretend. THIS is how you book meetings that you KNOW will show up. Being Authentic and being you.
