💼 When Work Becomes The Trigger 📆
A toxic work environment is one of the fastest ways to push your nervous system outside the Forgiveness Window. Constant pressure, unclear expectations, frustrating colleagues, and chronic stress slowly drain your energy and heighten anxiety. When your workplace becomes unsafe, your body stays in fight-or-flight, making burnout and panic symptoms almost inevitable. Your work environment matters. Protect your mental health, set boundaries, and remember no job is worth sacrificing your wellbeing. Healing accelerates the moment you stop normalising toxicity. I would love to know if anyone in this community has experienced a toxic work environment and what did you do about it?

Running a small business i'd like to think i have a fast pulse on toxic behaviour amongst my team but from past experiences if someone is having a neg impact on the team, they need to re-evaluate their values and re-align with a different business
📲 Social Media The Silent Addiction 📲
Constant scrolling keeps your mind in comparison, noise, and overstimulation mode. This fuels anxiety and reduces your ability to regulate stress. It's important to have awareness when you have been scrolling for too long. You have to give your brain space to breathe, it is always on! I would love to hear about your relationship with social media, are you in control of it or is it in control of you?

I’m in control until I’m not and I don’t even know it until I’m in zombie mode.

🍻 Why Every Hangover Delays Your Recovery 🍷
Most people think a big night “only affects the next day,” but when you’re recovering from burnout or anxiety, alcohol hits differently. Hangovers spike cortisol, disrupt sleep, overstimulate the nervous system, and throw your body outside the Forgiveness Window for days, not hours. That means slower healing, more anxiety, more emotional volatility, and less resilience. Alcohol also blocks REM sleep, which is crucial for emotional regulation so even one night of drinking can undo days of progress. This isn’t about perfection it’s about awareness. Every time you choose less alcohol, you choose faster recovery, more calm, more clarity, and more control. Your future self will thank you for honouring your healing 🧘🏼‍♂️

Pretty true.. the negative effects on sleep are real. A poor diet can also have the same negative associations
🏋🏾‍♂️ Move to Heal 🧘🏼‍♂️ Why Exercise Is Essential for Burnout & Anxiety Recovery
Exercise is one of the most powerful tools you have to overcome burnout and anxiety and it works faster than most people realise. Movement helps clear cortisol, stabilise your mood, and bring your nervous system back inside the Forgiveness Window. Even gentle exercise increases feel-good chemicals like dopamine and serotonin, giving your mind a sense of safety and control again. You don’t need intense workouts you need consistent movement. Find movement you enjoy and do it 🏃🏻‍♂️ exercise is medicine I would love to know, what's your favourite & least favourite exercise? 🎾 ⚽️ 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🚴🏽‍♀️

I always think that something is better than nothing. Sometimes the mental build up for a long or hard session can be tiring so thinking of exercise as just moment and flow of energy can help you get out there.
