We had a signing where the title company requested a change in location We understand, that can be frustrating. But here’s what happened: ❌ The notary replied directly to the client ❌ The tone was not professional ❌ And we weren’t given the chance to step in and handle it The reality is: 👉 We were already working on a solution 👉 We would have adjusted compensation due to the change But the response was immediate, and it escalated the situation Important reminder: If something changes or doesn’t feel right, always go through the signing service first 👉 We’re the ones who communicate with title 👉 We’re here to support you 👉 And we help protect those relationships And just as important, how we communicate matters 👉 How would you have handled this situation? 👀

I would’ve responded to the proper person professionally and simply asked whether the compensation would be adjusted for the additional travel/location change. Advocating for yourself is important, but so is maintaining good communication and relationships in this industry.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms in our NBG community! 🌸💐
Today, we celebrate the women who somehow manage to balance business, family, clients, schedules, school pickups, closings, and still show up with strength and love every single day. Being a mother and an entrepreneur is not easy, but your resilience, sacrifice, and determination are truly inspiring. Whether you are building your notary business full-time, part-time, or simply taking one step at a time, please know that your hard work matters and your family is watching your example. Thank you for being part of this community, for supporting one another, and for proving that women can build successful businesses while still leading with heart. Wishing you a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love, peace, appreciation, and special moments with your loved ones. You deserve it! 🌷

Thank you 😊 Happy Mother’s Day
Quick Question 🧐
Signing service says one thing in the order… Title company instructions say something completely different 👀 Now you’re at the table like… 😅 👉 Which one do you follow? 👉 Do you pick one and move forward? 👉 Or stop and reach out? This happens more often than you think, and it can put you in a tough spot Quick thought: When instructions conflict, guessing can cost you more than a quick call 👉 What do YOU do when signing service and title don’t match? 👇

@Lianet Lorenzo definitely agree with that, I would stop and reach out before signing.
Celebrating Melissa Battle 🙌
Melissa Battle just received the Influencer of the Year award at the NNA Conference and she absolutely deserves it 🥳 Take a moment to congratulate her. That's how we lift each other up. Here's what I want you to know: this award didn't happen by accident. It happened because Melissa showed up on social media consistently, shared her expertise, and built trust with the community. Follow her on IG: @notarizingtampa If you want to be recognized and nominated in this industry, you have to be visible. Start this week. Pick one platform. Share one piece of value. Build the habit. That's how Melissa did it. And that's how the next award-winner in our community will do it too 💪🏻 I'm proud of you, Melissa ❤️

Wow congrats 🎉
A situation that happens more often than you think 👇
Client deletes docs and uploads a new set… ❌ Doesn’t notify anyone Notary downloads the original set, completes the signing… ❌ Never sees the updated documents Signing service also doesn’t catch the update… ❌ No one flags the change Now the question is: Who’s responsible here? 👀 👉 The client for not notifying? 👉 The notary for not double-checking before the appointment? 👉 The signing service for not catching the update? 👉 Or all of the above? This is one of those gray areas where communication (or lack of it) can cause real problems. Quick reminder: Before heading to a signing, it’s always a good habit to do a last-minute check for any updates or new documents. It can save you from a big headache later. 👉 What do YOU think? Who’s responsible in this situation? Let’s discuss 👇
