Attract don't Chase
Chasing looks like this: → Discounting to win work → Over-explaining your value → Saying yes to the wrong clients → Following up people who were never serious → Feeling slightly desperate, even if you hide it well Attraction looks very different. - Attraction is clarity. - Attraction is standards. - Attraction is knowing who you are for — and who you are not for. The best businesses don’t shout louder. They stand firmer. They don’t convince. They demonstrate. They don’t beg for attention. They earn trust through consistency, delivery, and confidence. Here’s the uncomfortable truth: If you feel like you’re chasing, it’s usually because something is unclear: - Your positioning. - Your pricing. - Your confidence. - Your boundaries. Fix those, and the dynamic flips. Clients lean in. Opportunities come to you. Conversations change tone. Attracting isn’t passive. It’s disciplined. And it always starts with this decision: “I’m not for everyone... and that’s exactly why the right people find me.”

Great post. We're on the journey with you Mike, and eager to learn more regards where our positioning should be and where our pricing should be. From this point, I'm clear that our boundaries will be set and that confidence will soar. Have a great day everyone.
What Are You Tolerating?
You do not need more motivation. You need more truth. Most people are not stuck because they lack ideas. They are stuck because they keep avoiding one decision. Ask yourself this today: What am I tolerating that is costing me energy, money, or confidence? It might be A client you should have fired A price you should have raised A task you should have delegated A conversation you are avoiding Progress usually comes from subtraction. Not addition. Remove the thing that no longer fits. Everything else gets easier. Drop one word below. What are you tolerating right now?

I can relate to Kate's post. There are so many issues that affect our business that are completely outside our control. Client procrastination is certainly one of these, though these tend to be our 'self-funded' clients. No need to rush. Those that require the bank funding tend to be the opposite. Cash is expensive, so they pressurise the team to rush through the projects. This often leads to mistakes, then requires correction, and this ultimately takes more time. This also affects our business with invoicing and cash-flow. Whilst we promote a step-by-step, systematic approach for efficiency of a project, we're not guaranteed to have alignment with our clients, design team colleagues or local planning authorities. Happy Friday to all!
Stop fighting:
I release what I cannot control. I master what I can. Most people do the opposite. They fight the government. They fight the weather. They fight traffic. They fight the economy. They spend time. Energy. Emotional bandwidth. On battles they cannot win. And then they wonder why they feel drained, angry, stuck, or bitter. This is not strength. It is wasted force. In martial arts, you learn this early: You do not fight the river. You do not block the storm. You do not meet force with force. You flow. You redirect. You use momentum. Masters like Shi Heng Yi talk often about this principle. The problem is not the obstacle. The problem is resisting reality. When you resist what is outside your control, two things happen. 1. You lose the battle anyway. 2. You destroy your own psychology in the process. Stress increases. Clarity drops. Decision making weakens. But when you shift the question, everything changes. Instead of asking Why is this happening to me? You ask What part of this is mine to master? Your reactions. Your discipline. Your skills. Your habits. Your mindset. These are always available. Martial arts is not about dominance. It is about alignment. Not overpowering chaos. But moving through it intelligently. Business is the same. Life is the same. You do not win by fighting reality. You win by understanding it, then positioning yourself correctly. Release what you cannot control. Master what you can. That is not weakness. That is precision. And precision always beats force.

Your 5 year plan is worthless
If you cannot execute this week. I see it constantly. - Vision boards - 5 year strategies - Beautiful plans - Decks that look impressive Then I ask one question. - What are you doing THIS WEEK To move the needle? Silence. Here is the truth: Your big vision means nothing If you cannot prioritise the next 5 days. Strategy without execution Is just daydreaming. I have mentored 1,000 plus businesses. The ones that actually scaled Did not have the fanciest plans. They did 3 simple things Relentlessly. 3 steps to achieving real goals: 1. Lock in SMART goals - Not vague wishes. - Clear outcomes written down in a plan. 2. Take action DAILY: - No zero days. - No waiting for motivation. 3. Build real accountability: - Not a cheerleader. - A mirror. Stop hiding in long term planning Because today feels uncomfortable. Big visions are built On small, boring Consistent actions. So ask yourself: What is on your calendar THIS WEEK That actually matters and will definitely deliver against your goals? If you cannot answer that You do not have a plan. - You have a fantasy. Drop your top 1 priority for this week below And who is holding you to account. ...and join the group call in the Skool calendar at 6.30pm tonight
