Really good episode of the hours today: Tyler and Claire hit some homeruns today in the podcast. I am in year #29 of high school coaching and this episode hit home. I too starting coaching the game the way I was coached. I am so glad I am not that guy anymore I feel like in the last 15 years I have changed so much as a coach and this is thanks to coaches like Tyler, Mark, Josh and Kevin Templeton and other coaches I know at PGC who have opened up my mind to be think outside the box. Just wanted to drop a note to the folks at SAVI to keep up the good work and it to reassure you that you are still challenging and changing some of us "old dogs" to keep learning new tricks.

We had a great summer this year when the boys actually showed up. It was a great reminder that I cannot want to work more than the boys who are playing. I tried to focus on very few things this summer and I know that we did get better in those areas. Thank you for putting time into the off season blueprint as it helped me get my thoughts organized and put us on a good track to continue to develop.
