Hello everyone, My name is Ben. I own Athens Jiu Jitsu in Athens TN. The school has been open for 8 years and our original Professor and our other 8 Black belt instructors stayed on to teach. I have a back ground in running small-medium sized gyms and i have worked in the Martial arts software space for 7 years. Before i got into gym/school ownership i spent 10 years in the Marines.

I am still getting the majority of people still signing up for the MadLabBJJ.com rather than here. It also has a forum as well. I hate to dump one for another but I want my crew to get as much as I can possibly give.

I’m Crystal! Wife and mom. We are a family that practices Jiu Jitsu together, always fighting for the under hook. Blue belt, been training for about 3ish years. Love the martial arts and have been at it since I was young. Currently training Muy Thai, mma, and Jiu Jitsu. I’ve been working on take downs for competitions, love passing guard and smashing, hate mount position, and am known for committing a bow and arrow sub on all my friends. I’m here for all the jiu jitsu. I really am a nerd at heart and love to study and talk jiu jitsu. These videos are great! I’m grateful to be here and be able to talk about it with ya’ll.

Nicholas, 31, husband, and dad of a 7-year-old. Training BJJ since June 2023, now a 3-stripe white belt, balancing family life and work. I enjoy playing half guard, and my favorite submission is the punch choke. Me trying to recall the move we just went over, but completely forgetting it the moment we start drilling! I’m sure I’m not the only one, right?

Wait I mean MadLab 2 Point 0 My new place where I will be able to share so many cool things with you and make your experience amazing. Currently I am Working my butt off in Charleston South Carolina preparing for a MADLAB CAMP and also seminars in Europe. I have missed the past 2 UFCS 😲 so I have some homework to do!!! But I want to know about your favorite 2 or 3 fights so I can watch those first!! I just ordered DeadPool and Wolverine and plan to watch that tonight as I work on the sites My current focus on BJJ right now is simplifying the concepts so they are easy to remember. I will upload this soon bc I think its really amazing right now What are your Favorite Guards? Passes? Submissions? I am first and foremost a halfguard player then since my injuries transfer to Inside Spider X (that instructional I will post is amazing) I love passing more than anything else in BJJ....Smashing then putting pressure until I get a neck or an arm is my trademark My favorite Submissions are Clock Choke, Bow and Arrow, and Head and Arm Triangle. I need a book to read! Any Suggestions? Send me whatever you think I would like
