If you're building a website for a client and you want it to work for SEO purposes then you'll want to do it right. I just learned how to do this over the last few months and when I launched my site within the first week my client was ranking in the map pack and first page of Google for his industry, the tangible results were that he was getting at least 1 call a day, a month later he's getting 2 with no additional work, just from the initial website alone. Here's what's important in order for the website: Speed -> Relevance -> Authority For the domain name choose a .com or domain that's most relevant for the location your targeting ( Authority + Relevance ) For the hosting, choose the fastest you can possibly afford. Rocket.net is the best, Hostinger, or Sitegrounds are fast and cheaper. I'd recommend building on wordpress as you'll be able to easily achieve speed, and the SEO requirements for relevance and authority. If you've got any more questions let me know.
