How to Work With Sadness - Demonstration from In-Person Training
If you're curious what it looks like inside our in-person training, here is one of the many demonstrations you will learn and practice within the training. Adriana, our lead instructor for in-person, demonstrates being with another person in a moment of sadness. Powerful video. If you're interested in learning more, please connect with our educators, as space is filling up quickly (we have only 11 spots left for our January training).

This human connection of love and support is so beautiful; it's poweerful, the way we can hold space for healing with one another. This felt so natural to watch. I loved her coaching x

Just checking in to say a huge thanks for the last few days. My coach Victor Oddo introduced me to your style of breathwork. It really is life changing. Namaste 🙏🏼
Module 4: The Daily Practice Overview
📝 Share Your #1 Take-Away Below! In this video, we dive into the structure of the somatic daily practice. This same structure is used for many of our longer sessions. While there are complex, hands-on techniques and ways to tailor your language to speak to someone's subconscious mind, this practice is designed to be simple. Sometimes, simplicity can be the most effective.

This structure really spoke to me! Thanks for sharing your work. I have a breathwork certificate but this feels as if it resonates a whole lot more 🙏🏼

@Nadeem Al-Hasan this has been an amazing experience. I coach somatic yoga with vagus nerve techniques so this is deeply resonating with me, yes it feels like a nudge to go deeper. Thank you all so much for sharing your work. I can imagine it’s changing so many lives 💎
Module 5: How to Apply This Practice
📝Share Your #1 Take-Away We are all breathworkers, whether we realize it or not. Breath controls our nervous system, influencing our mind and body - let's cover this here in this video! If someone is in a defensive state, no matter the work you’re doing, it might not fully land. Starting with breathwork ensures their system is ready to receive and integrate your work. If you're interested in learning more about deeper journeys, nervous system communication, and advanced techniques, reach out to us. Schedule a call with our education team to see if it aligns with you. Even if you don’t, a part of our mission is to spread this knowledge so we can reconnect with ourselves, each other, and our communities. Healing is about integration and connection. I hope you gain a lot from this practice. Reach out if you need anything. Let’s weave the web of a disconnected world back to the intelligence of our being. For practitioners, this practice has various applications: - Body-Based Practitioners: If you're a chiropractor, physical therapist, bodyworker, or yoga teacher, start your sessions with a short breathwork practice. It helps open up the body, release defense mechanisms, and puts clients in a receptive state. I’ve seen this enhance the effectiveness of bodywork and corrective exercises, making them stick better. - Mind-Based Practitioners: If you're a coach, therapist, or counselor, incorporating breathwork helps your clients become more open and coachable. It prepares their body and mind for revisiting stories, reframing beliefs, and processing emotions. This creates a conducive environment for deeper work.

I coach yoga, I’ll be bringing in breathwork at the beginning of sessions. Thanks for this suggestion.
Module 3: Co-Regulation & Nervous System Communication
📝 Share Your #1 Take-Away Below! If you consider yourself an empath and spend a lot of time around a dysregulated person, you might start feeling like their stress is your own. Many connect over their stressors or traumas, discussing the latest distressing news as a way to bond. But this is co-dysregulation. As a practitioner of this work, co-regulation is foundational and is one of the most crucial topics and skill sets for humans to learn is co-regulation. Co-regulation is all about how your electrical bubble, your nervous system, interacts with another's nervous system. When we spend time with someone with a regulated nervous system, we start to co-regulate with them, finding balance without saying a word. Conversely, if someone's dysregulated and we spend time with them, we might start to feel dysregulated ourselves. We discuss this in this video.
