Thoughts on this jacket?
I like the color and thickness, but I feel something is off. Thoughts? Its thick, it's burgundy, it's mostly wool, but I dunno.....it's just doesn't feel sharp. Maybe I'm pairing it wrong?

Sports jacket and a t-shirt
Is this acceptable? If it's not, how can I make it work? I don't mean this in a rude way, but to be honest, I don't care if it's in vogue, or simply not; I just want to do it because I really like the casual thing. Collared shirts are nice, but t-shirts are easier and sometimes it feels really nice to wear them and not have to tuck in my shirt and all that jazz. I also really like sports jackets; I just want to merge the two, and be classy AND casual at the same time. If so, what kinds and what colors are best? Im thinking neutral -- black, white, grey, brown, pink, blue, etc. Which goes better with a sports jacket -- v-neck or crew? I also don't like traditional dress shoes as I've been wearing Vibrams 5 fingers for nearly a decade now and I just can't/won't wear anything else -- definitely not oxfords, lace ups, boots, or really anything with a sole. They hurt! I don't know how you guys do it, but tbh, after wearing 5-fingers for so many years, my feet, posture, and fitness has drastically improved, while my tolerance for soled shoes has just diminished to absolute zero, and if it's not comfortable, I just won't touch it (men's dress shoes are notoriously expensive and terribly uncomfortable, IMHO). The thing is I highly doubt they 'go' with a nice wardrobe. But truth be told, they first appeared on the scenes by someone on the red carpet who wore them with a suit. So, who says I can't? Is just choosing black or a shoe that doesn't pop, and take away from the jacket? My goal is to find a way to find a way to really do the sports jacket, T, occasional collared shirt, barefoot shoe thing. So, two different topics here: 1) Wearing a t-shirt with a sports jacket, jeans. Is it possible to do well, or must you always go collared shirt? 2) How to **not/never again**-wear dress shoes, and make that work. Thanks in advance. PS I don't think this guy in the pic does it well. It looks sloppy, and honestly pretty bad. I think he could definitely improve. I'd like to be that improved look. I'd like to make sports jacket, jeans, vibrams, and potentially a t-shirt, look AMAZING! Any tips/tricks would be appreciated

@Piers Gibson-Leader If you say so. I'll believe it when I see it. I love the look of nice shoes, but they're always like bricks. I've bought many and always give them away because of it. Maybe one day I'll give in. Loafers, on the other hand, I don't mind, from time to time or casual dinner or something. Idk.. maybe it's just me? Once u go barefoot, u never go back.

@Christopher Knuffke so a collar is critical under a jacket with a collar?
Need some hair advice
I need some help on a haircut that suits my face. Every time I go to a place to get my hair done they ask "what do you want?" It makes sense, but to be honest, I don't know. I don't what style suits my face, or what haircut would look best -- for me. Any suggestions? Any barbers here? To be honest, now that I let it grow, I'm kinda really liking the long-hair thing. Plus, it's winter -- who doesn't want hair? Also, many men don't have hair, so I want to flaunt it while I can. Love some input. I kinda feel like Richard Gear in Office & A Gentlemen -- I'm about to get it shaved lol

and how do you keep it healthy? I brush mine multiple times/day. Maybe I just need someone to fine tune it or give it a trim?

jeans and a blazer -- I love it! my favorite combination to see. this is inspiring to me, and I hope I can't wait to mimic you. Just curious -- where do you live (in what climate), and what kinda work do you do? I'm trying to find a way to make this outfit more appropriate for me, whether than feeling like I dress up all the time, which I am. I like dressing up but I look and feel out of place sometimes -- especially in Colorado, or in Mexico like I am right now where no one dresses nice. The most is a collared shirt and jeans, and that's the older generation.
Birthday day out before drinks later......
With Autumn seriously kicking in now, I thought it would be rude not to take advantage of the glorious weather we are getting here and get the family out to a local country park. Nothing new here, just my go to Autumn shirt that I have had for a few years, Levis and my trusty boots. Hope you are all having a fantastic day wherever you are 😊
