Fantastic generosity
I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to @Antonio Centeno for the incredibly thoughtful gifts of the beautiful Vincero watch, Anson belt, RMRS pocket square, atomisers and challenge coins he sent me. It was such a delightful surprise, and I feel truly touched by his kindness and generosity. I was expecting a watch from Antonio's collection as part of reaching Level 9 in the Watch Lover community skool.com/watch-lover , and that is fantastic in itself, but to receive the other gifts as well is just mind blowing.🤯 This does mean I'll have to post a OOTD at some point with the accessories.

Blazer and tie (42/70) Challenge: tie 42 wk 6
A muted Mutiny of Patterns-end of week 6 Inspired by a Pinterest’s purposeful plethora of patterns I thought I might stretch myself as week 6 of this blazer challenge culminates. At 28 degrees outside I knew I wanted to stay warm so I grabbed my Sir Pendleton ultra light weight wool shirt. These Pendleton’s, because of the properties of wool, have a color like no other. This particular one’s Southwest USA use of Turquoise is quite unique. After looking at the Pinterest pic I grabbed all my muted paisleys and ancient madder silks and tried to emulate that photo using what I have in my closet. Not surprised if this is a bit bold for some-but I hope I pulled it off. - leather newsboy flat cap - Royal Blue (teal tint) 1997 custom made blazer - Sir Pendleton wool shirt - Triona herringbone vest from Ireland - Ancient Madder silk tie ( chose it bc it read the most solid of the group & had rust accent) - Deep brown (almost purple) wide wale trousers - Northern tier map bandanna used as a pocket square (boy scout yellow fleur-de-lis emblem) - Pendleton Native American wool socks - 1982 Alden shell cordovans - 1904 Omega Pocket watch

Blazer and Tie (41/70) Challenge: Tie 41
Homage to Ralph Lauren late fall As the temperatures plummeted to sub freezing today I thought I would break out my Ralph Lauren large print fall tie. When Ralph started out in the 1970’s his ties were wider than others and that allowed for some hunting themed prints. About 30 years ago he did a series of large prints again and this green pheasant tie is one of those. Working from the tie outward I paired it with a gunclub check shirt (one of zombie shirts that I flipped the collars). I used my 1997 custom made blazer as an accent layer under my Barbour jacket. Chocolate colored 5 pocket corduroys and Lucchese smooth ostrich boots on the bottom, my Orvis field watch as an accessory, and the first flat cap I ever bought picked up at a relatives’ little store in Seewis Switzerland called Bazar, and the work week began.
