TM Meditation?
Practicing Transcendental Meditation has been the doorway that finally allowed me to feel what I had only logically understood for years: the deep unity that exists throughout the universe. It's been years that I've been learning about oneness, spirituality and the interconnectedness of everything, but it wasn't until I tried meditating through the use of a mantra that I started to notice a sense of connectedness that I never felt before. I'd love to hear your experience with this practice! 🌟

Would you mind telling us what was the mantra?
...
There is only now. Why then think about the past or the future? There is only oneness. Why then cling to the illusion of separation? And why listen to the monster mind If we won't experience this place again in this body, in this way? Peace, love πŸ’

Our mind will think about the past and futur when it works in fear mode, because it looks for ways to prepare for any misfortune that could come. If you teach him slowly to have faith that everything is working out perfectly, that everything will be alright, then it slows down, stops, and you can enjoy the present. Why so many people are nostalgic of their childhood? Because they were living in the present. Because they had no fears. And the mind started turning like a ferrari engine the moment enough bad experiences had been experienced. Because the mind doesn't want to feel that ever again. Because as a child, no one told you that the bad experience is not here to hurt, but to teach. And therefor the mind can't receive the teaching and only sees a terrible treat that it needs to protect itself against. The monster mind is not our ennemy, it's just the part of us who is scared of pain and feels disconnected from love. Take him in your hands, tell him it's ok, that everything will be alright, that you love him. Say thank you, for trying to protect me. You can rest now, I will take care of things from now on. Take back your power. Put the crown on your head. Be kings, be queens. And take care of your beautiful kingdom.
Strange thing that happened yesterday
Like everyone here, I'm trying to better myself. With the idea to take care of my body I started doing some push ups. Nothing fancy, regular, like I always did. Around 15, I felt a big pain in my back. Almost impossible to move. At the same time I was setting up a work I had been procrastinating for some time, and I had planned to take care of other errands. My back getting stuck through out of the window all my planing, I went swimming to try and fix it, and then tried to survive the rest of the day, waiting for the pain to go away. What I don't understand is the following: I was doing good work Had the intention to do more Was doing push ups to take care of my body And it's almost like the universe punished me for it. I know everything I said might sound a bit silly and that I'm supposed to use this experience to create my own meaning, make it usefull to me. But I'm sure there are others who have also felt this frustration of feeling like you got punished for doing what's right. Wanted to know what you think about it.

@Christian F. Words I already knew to be true, but it feels good reading them nonetheless. Thank you

If I have good intent, how to make the universe bend to my will?
Hello there, I'm 28M from India, living in India. So basically, here's what I desire: 1. A room where I can enjoy alone space for creativity and expanding money. 2. Whole foods plant based diet 3. Zero financial dependency on my father (because I've leeched too much from him only to end up in sloth and procrastination) 4. Modern smartphone and laptop to earn money with the least carbon footprint 5. Work that fulfills my soul I want all of this to happen in a few days, and not weeks. I'd be very happy living an independent life with choices. I have good intent of making sure my parents stop living frugally because I'm being a burden on them (I ain't guilt tripping, spend 15 days with me and you'll know why), but lack/possess: 1. Proper brain function and capabilities (A brain with an ability to make proper decisions, understand people, their words and educational concepts better, and retain information) 2. No source of income 3. No solid skillset (my skillset is comparable to someone in 1950s) 4. A criminal past, although I've never spent time in prison 5. Gratitude 6. A few cents in my bank account 7. Tendency to take advantage of others knowingly 8. An acquisitional mindset 9. No love/empathy 10. A dysregulated nervous system 11. Having niceness only in words, not actions + lacking the maturity to take appropriate actions 12. Expecting everyone to come talk to him and take care of him, while he doesn't show concern towards anyone until the person is of any utility to him TL; DR, a walking red flag! Summary: I want the universe to support me and make sure my needs are met until I don't have a job and find my calling to heal the world. I don't want to do a job because the stress in the kind of work we get these days is not worth the loss of peace and time for no worthy contribution to the society.

@Yogesh Sivan When you hurt others, you hurt yourself, which is why you feel so bad now. Remember it's always a good time to do what is right, what is good. Things will start improving. Doing good things, makes you feel good.
Free again...?!
Hi rebels, I am new in the group. Normally I donΒ΄t speak about it, but HERE ... I have lived that what Rey is talking about for 3 months: complete freedom, inner silence, no mind-stuff anymore. It happed while practicing Hatha Yoga, in deep relaxation at the end. Well, then I went on vacation and lost it. So painful, but one never forgets it. Now I want to tune into this endless field again. Greetings to all of you

You still have with you the most important: You now KNOW it is possible. There is no more doubt. You did it once. You can do it again. Keep going, keep trying. You got this.
