Looking at which courses to buy
I'm just looking for some general advice on some of Nakita's courses. I'd love to buy the Everything bundle, but that's not currently something that I can afford. So moving into what I can afford, I've been looking at the Surface Modeling Ultimate Bundle. I am new to Plasticity but not new to 3d modelling. I've been using Blender off and on since 2.6 and a bunch of others like Silo and Lightwave3d. The only other nurb modeller I would say I'm somewhat competent in is FreeCAD. I'm just wondering if the surface modelling bundle would be frustrating to try without a super solid background in Plasticity. I've been watching all of Nakita's youtube videos and with others I don't feel as though I'm a complete noob at Plasticity. Just looking for feedback.

Hey there. Imho, plasticity was made for creatives, like people who make game assets as oppose to engineers, and so the learning is pretty low. Nakita's tutorials are a great resource for sure. When you watch tutorials on YouTube you'll find Nakita does a really good job of explaining the tools and theories behind surfacing. IMO if you were to do all of Nikita's free tutorials you will quickly get up to speed with plasticity. Then purchase in depth tutorials that match what you plan on making: organic objects or mechanical.
Introduction post!
Hi everyone! I'm Abhik, a 20 year old industrial design student based in Ahmedabad, India. I discovered plasticity and Nikita's courses earlier this year, and now I'm happy to be part of this community. My setup is nothing special: my M2 MacBook Pro, Portronics Hydra 10, Logitech M650L, a whole lotta junk to keep the creative juices flowing! I hope to be able to get a monitor soon by freelancing here and there, which is why I'm focused on improving my form development, CAD modelling and visualisation skills. Excited to learn from all of you!

Welcome aboard! I'm a 61yr old industrial designer. I have used many CAD/CAID software and Plasticity has been a game changer for me. Good luck!
Helmet finally done
So i finally sat through and modelled the famous helmet WITHOUT buying the course. I only applied the skills Nikita has shown in his YouTube tutorials. The chamfer and the sweep techniques were the ones that helped in getting the model right and he has SHOWN them in his helmet modelling tutorials on YouTube. The rest was just going back and forth and starting over many many times.

@Martin Nijhuis zazzle? I forgot about that site. Thanks for the info!
Renders + Nano Banana test 🍌
I have recently brought in renders that were modeled in Plasticity 3D to Google's Nano Banana, the latest pic generation model. It's insane 🥳 Sometimes it's more precise, sometimes not. But interesting how everything works 😎 Designers, heads up, we're living in a new era 😁
