Day 03 of learning
I'm about halfway through the helmet course, and 1/4 of the way through the glue gun course. Wanted to practice what I've learned so far and see if I could model something from ref images. Pretty happy with how it turned out! The model certainly isn't perfect, but you can't tell from the renders out of C4D using redshift. How'd I do?

Random opening that can't edited/ patched, preventing the mesh to be mirrored?
Hey everyone, continuing on with the awesome helmet tutorial! Here I am running into a very interesting problem where there seems to be a random hole by the side of the mesh that I cannot select to edit and patch. it also looks like I cannot mirror this sheet over as well. Could this be some sort of internal reason as to why this can't be mirrored? Love to hear your thoughts and insights. Thanks!

Great model, looks clean! You could make the area light straight so you have a clean reflection line on the glass, or reduce the noise/bump. Can I use your renders for promo
