Scent notes you can’t stand
I recently discovered that I really dislike powdery notes in my fragrances. Unfortunately it turned me off to Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel. What notes turn you off to a fragrance?

@Michael Johnson All I can smell in Sauvage is that powdery note I dislike so I can’t even tell what the ambroxan in that is supposed to smell like. I am hoping that smelling Molecule 02 would educate my nose on ambroxan - good or bad. Would you recommend another fragrance to smell to understand ambroxan?

BOS Story Poll Series Question 1
I'm creating a new story poll graphic, at least once a day, to poll the inner circle. This is a level 8 project that I will use to continue to gain infomation and data on my journey to level 9. At the end of the series, I will compile the data to report the overall opinion of the brotherhood on the story poll series. Please take part each time you see one of these, as I am considering this a personal study to earn respect and confidence as a fragrance enthusiast here in the brotherhood. I can only learn and grow with your help brothers. Thanks for taking part as I will try to make this interesting for everyone to review as I make my way to the elusive level 9. @Antonio Centeno

Right now, I’m in love with Imagination but it would be sad to give up Absolu Aventus.

@Kyle C I like Terre d’Hermes EDT too. Costco had the 6.7 oz on sale so I had to pick that up!
A fun day at South Coast Plaza!
Happy President's Day brothers! On this vacation/holiday day me and the wife spent our time at South Coast Plaza, which is a high-end mall here in Southern California in the Irvine region. A few of the stores in there are Louis Vuitton, Bloomingdale's, Guerlain Boutique, amongst others. Luckily, Guerlain had the cologne Forte over there for sampling. I was going to blind buy that one based on all the hype that it's getting online. Most recently Ash from Gentscents was saying it's one of the best ones he smelled and it's limited release so that FOMO kicks in as well. I'm so glad I was able to go and put my nose on it because the opening is super citrusy and almost feels cloying to me. My wife even described it as a bathroom freshener. I'm just glad I was able to smell it; saved me $180. However the downside is the wife ended up buying $1,000 worth of skincare products so I don't think it was a good decision to go in there 😂. We were also able to go to the Dior boutique and smell some of the private collection. Ambre Nuit is awesome; they have a new one, Cuir saddle, or something like that, very nice. They have Louis Vuitton store as well so we went there and smelled Imagination, Ombre Nomade, Meteor and others. I really like Rose Le Sables, great refined rose. Still not paying LV prices. All in all a great day. Smelled a lot of fragrances; my nose is pretty much blown at this point. Hope you all had a wonderful President's Day.

I’m not too far from South Coast Plaza. I wanted to go pick up Imagination from the LV store there, but ended up just buying it online after I heard it comes packaged nicer online. It would be nice to smell the other LV fragrances in person though. Definitely will make the trip at some point. Too bad it was raining so much today as well!

@Eugene Makogon Costco had it on sale for Valentines Day for $75 off so it was about $179 when I purchased it.
