Does anyone else feel like they have a great idea in their head, but the moment you sit down to write… it disappears? How do you push through that?

Sometimes what helps me is recording myself while I describe my idea. Hearing myself explain it makes me understand exactly what story I want to tell, and as the words start flowing, I get new ideas for how to present it well.
