A Bit of Problem Awareness 💭
🤔 Curious — when do you usually get stuck? Before you start, or during? Most writers don’t struggle with writing........... They struggle with starting. Not because they’re lazy —but because every day feels like a new decision. “Should I write now?” “Do I have enough time?” “What should I even work on?” 🌟 That back-and-forth is what drains you.......Not the writing 👀

@Zak King I've never tried that before. That's a really great tip🌟
The “Thinking Out Loud”
Something I’ve been realizing: When I reread my own writing, it always feels clearer than it probably is… because I already know what I meant. Makes me wonder how different it feels to someone reading it for the first time. Do you think about that when editing?

I love this thought. I think that if you feel that your point is clear, then other people will most likely understand it as well. But I've definitely had times when I've felt sure of something that I've written, then after having someone read over it, they have a completely different take-away than I intended. But I think that's the beauty of interpretation. Like any art, writing can be multidimensional. I can look at a piece of art and see something completely different than someone else.
Writing Struggle Check
Does anyone else feel like they have a great idea in their head, but the moment you sit down to write… it disappears? How do you push through that?

This is something I've struggled with a lot. I feel like I can come up with some of the best ideas. But as soon as I sit down in front of the laptop.....nothing. Something that I like to do that helps me a lot is a brain dump. I sit down and just write whatever pops into my head. I don't try to make it good. Sometimes it's complete nonsense, but after a while, my brain starts to warm up, and I'm usually able to get something good out of it.😊

@Aja Taylor I really love this idea. I will be giving it a try
Craft, Consistency, and Growth
Growing as a writer isn’t just about writing better. It’s also about showing up consistently and building connection. I’m here to refine my craft, exchange feedback, and stay accountable. Are you currently focused more on craft, audience growth, or finishing your manuscript?

I want to say all of the above haha. But if I had to choose, I'm currently focussed on finishing my manuscript and refining my craft. Doing my best to stay consistent and not let life get in the way
