Things are moving quickly
We put our house on the market yesterday yesterday morning by the afternoon, we already had a realtor wanting to show our house to a buyer and then another that evening wanting to video our house for another buyer (most likely our of state). So two showings and the house has only been on the market for 1 day.

How Does a Gentleman Tie his Oxford Shoes?
Greetings gents, Details matter. Would you not agree? In the tradition of the well dressed gentleman, attention does not end with the jacket or the tie. It extends all the way to the shoes. Even the way one ties one’s laces can reflect a sense of care, discipline, and aesthetic refinement. Today I am sharing two short demonstrations by Kirby Allison of distinctive shoe knots often used on dress shoes, particularly oxfords. - The Parisian knot offers a clean, balanced finish that sits neatly across the vamp of the shoe. It is understated and precise. (My preferred knot) - The Berluti knot, made famous by the legendary Parisian shoemaker, adds a slightly more sculpted appearance while remaining secure and elegant. (Harder to tie) Both are small refinements, yet these are precisely the kinds of details that elevate ordinary dress into something deliberate. Elegance comes in the refined details we exhibit as sartorially apt gentlemen. The days of the double knot are OVER! Cheers

I’ve been tying my shoes since I was 5 and I still screw it up. Crooked everytime. My wife says I do it backwards. Can’t help it though because muscle memory. Everytime I try another way it feels so weird. I’ll try this today… but I’m not gonna like it
The Rise of Robots
Apparently, China just created "Moya" - the most realistic robot/android so far. Features? - Cameras in the eyes - Most accurate expressions so far - Biometric human-temp warm skin - Walking gait 90% accurate to human Proposed uses? - Healthcare - Therapy - Customer service (general) - "Companion" While some consider it creepy in the uncanny valley between human and machine and fear the singularity, and others fear loss of jobs, some praise it as a step toward necessary replacement when it comes to the more challenging aspects of human interaction (especially since social media, let alone the sheer number of predicted geriatric population to need care in the coming 10-20 years). What are your thoughts?

$170,000 (USD) is a lot of money for a sex bot… and let’s be honest, that’s what it is for now. The uncanny valley effect comes to mind. A lot (if not most) people will probably find the combination of human appearance, movement, and warmth simultaneously impressive and unsettling. As for me…It is a noteworthy milestone, though its ultimate real world impact will depend on practical deployment, reliability in varied environments, and broader societal acceptance. Also, Seeing robots in my era? It’s badass. (Doomsday bonus or not.)
