introduction
Hello everybody, My name is Jeremy and I started my window cleaning business about two months ago, how much is a good price per pane for exterior and interior glass, frames, and sills assuming I live in an expensive county with high cost of living and high home prices

@Benjamin Millen I feel like I have absolutely no idea how to price a job and this advice you gave Jeremy is super helpful for me too. Do you prefer to quote by home square foot usually? Thanks so much for this insight

Hey everyone! My name is Aaron and I recently stumbled on this group and I’m super happy I did. My wife and I recently started a small owner-operator window cleaning company called Spruce Up Services in Whatcom County, WA. Previously I had worked for a window washing company in Brooklyn, NY for a couple years, but this will be my first time starting my own business. We’ll both be doing the work ourselves and are starting out mostly focused on residential window cleaning, hoping to get into other services in the future. One thing a little different about our situation is that volunteer work is a big priority for us, so we’re intentionally building the business to stay flexible (to at times be away for weeks at a time doing that). Our goal is to run a smaller operation for now, working about 3 days a week. I’d love to learn from those of you who have been doing this longer. A few things I’d like to pick your brains about and have a multitude of counselors: • What pitfalls should new window cleaning business owners avoid when starting out? • What are the best ways you’ve found to get jobs early on? • How would you go about running the business with my circumstances of needed flexibility? If anyone is willing, I’d really appreciate honest feedback on my website or door hanger design as well. Website: spruceupnw.com Thanks for any help you can give! I know this is probably a big ask but I thought I’d try. Really looking forward to learning from everyone here 😀

Welcome to the BluLadder Pro Network — built for Next Level Clean pros like you. You’re part of the first wave to join this group. I’ll be dropping tools, templates, and strategies each week to help you run a real business, not just chase gigs. ✅ This group will eventually be paid, but as a founding member, you’re in for free — and unlimited access to the community for good. Here’s what to do next: - Drop a quick intro in the thread below, let us know how long you’ve been in business and where you’re located (City/State) - Try out the free tools (more coming soon!) → bluladder.com/pro/apps - Let me know what tools or resources you’d like next in the “Feature Wishlist” post Once we’ve got 15–20 active people in here, the founding tier closes and we go paid. Let’s make this a group worth being in.
