There’s just the slightest touch of sweetness from raspberry and vanilla in the base, balanced nicely by a dry, crisp vetiver that keeps it grounded and masculine. Exceptionally smooth and beautifully well-rounded, with real depth and layers that keep unfolding. Resinous, mildly sweet, a touch of spice, a boozy warmth, and a bright, uplifting opening that pulls it all together. It’s one of those fragrances where the nuances are so refined it’s hard to put everything into words. I absolutely understand why this sits at such a high price point—this is opulence in a bottle. That said, retail is a bit too rich for my blood 😅, but I do have a line on a bottle from a private seller, so we’ll see how that unfolds.
