I'm actually revisiting this to leave another comment because I'd been thinking about it I think the audience for this is bigger than you would think With social media the top 1% rises to the top. i.e the 100k months from a standing start by selling 10k pif's then getting a 50% chargeback rate that you don't tell anyone about. So for observers it probably looks people only care about this stuff and getting rich ASAP but fucking the consequences I think the reality is much different. There's zero part of me that has any interest in taking without giving and I genuinely want to do what's good And unless the rest of the world has lost it's soul then I know I'm not the only one. It just isn't talked about because it's not cool so you don't hear about this stuff. And as the fast cash guys fall off which they probably will it's only gonna be real value providers left anyways
Need advice — struggling to get first SMMA client, email outreach only
Hey everyone, Looking for honest feedback from people who’ve been here. My situation: 20 years old, working a 9-5 until end of August so outreach is limited to mornings, lunch and evenings as home late. Running a Meta ads agency targeting local contractors in Dublin, Ireland. Everything is built — website, booking system, scripts, lead list of 500+ businesses segmented by review count. Have some savings and wanna try scale asap before leaving 9-5. Case study: Ran a live test campaign before approaching anyone — 10 leads in 5 days at €7.50 per lead. No actual paying client yet. What I’ve done: 10 days of outreach. 5 to 8 cold emails per day manually. Got 1 reply on day 1 from a warm lead who said they’re interested but too busy to book a call. No other replies yet. (Want to increase this but trying to warm up first) My problems: No testimonials making it harder to close Limited to email only — is this enough or do I need other channels Not sure whether to automate now or wait for first client One warm lead interested but won’t book a call — how do I close without being pushy Worried peak season is passing while I’m still getting started My questions: -What should a cold email to local contractors actually consist of to maximise reply rate? (Also not even sure if email is the best outreach for them but based on my current situation I cant really cold call as im home late) -Should I automate outreach now or wait until I have real client results? -What’s the fastest way to land first client with no testimonials? -Is cold email alone enough or do I need to add DMs and calling? -Is SMS blasting to local contractors legal in Ireland under GDPR — anyone done this successfully here? -Anyone been in this exact position — what moved the needle? Thanks for the help it is really appreciated

What Daily Budget is enough to test different creatives?
Been running only video creatives for my clients - which has been working in terms of Link CTR, so the ads + copy seem to be doing well, and the videos are pretty much iterations of the ad copy anyway. But I'm wondering should I be testing image creatives too? I'm sure the answer is yes, but so far my clients are spending £20/day, so I'm wondering is that enough to be testing different creatives? Or will it just be diluting an already small budget too much?

If the videos are working, don't test images And technically you could test on any budget. But £20 is low, £30 is also low. You could do it at £50. Ideally at £70-100
Getting New Clients
Might sound like a stupid question But for agency owners doing over 10k/pm do you still believe that cold outreach is actually worth the time and hassle? My experience has always been that you'll attract curious leads, who want to find a way to shortcut success and are looking for a golden ticket offer with 101 guarantees, no work involved and free until they make 100k Maybe I was bad at sales and pitching, I don't know but keen to hear everyone's thoughts before I jump in and commit to 500 to see if it's still worth it Got some free time on my schedule now so just trying to stay smart

@Alessandro Ciotti Yes dude they were I still have a plan to get them going again. Like this happens with the ads game. I don't mind spending £500 that goes to waste so long as it's productive But my only problem is that I'm still in a position where I can only do that 4 or 5 times before I can't pay rent lol
Starting An Agency Podcast and I WANT YOU!
Doing the first agency podcast today, and I need your help. Alright so, for those who don't know, I've been wanting to do an agency podcast for a long time. Today's the day. Recording the first one in the next 3 to 4 hours. Thing is, I need some seed stuff from you guys to work with on the call. Heads up though, this is a pretty rare chance for anyone outside my paid programmes to get personalised advice from me. The guys in the Guild get this kind of thing every week. For everyone else in here, this is your shot. So if there's something on your mind, take advantage of it. Here's what would be absolutely amazing: 1. Voice note questions → anything that's been on your mind around running an agency. Mindset stuff, concerns, stresses, whatever's weighing on you. The messier and more honest the better. 2. Copy or creatives to red-pen live → ads, landing page copy, emails, creatives, anything you want a fresh set of eyes on. I'll pull it up on the call and rip into it in real time. 3. A lead form → if you've got one you want me to pick apart, send it through too. Look, I don't fully know what the format's going to look like yet. Probably just me getting on and giving advice off the cuff. But the more you guys send through, the better this thing's going to be. Scan the QR code below to send it straight to my WhatsApp. Voice notes, screenshots, links, whatever. Just fire it across. 3 to 4 hours from now. Anything you can get to me before then would be sweet. Cheers.
