Notifications and Silent
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, As many of you recall over the past. Several months I have been de-digitizing myself, and this has been very life changing in beneficial for me. I have minimized the use of my cell phone to basically answering the phone and messages. And this have allowed me to regain my mental cognitive functions and increased my memory and attention to details when I went back you using a notebook for my day to day activities. So yesterday I had a pretty busy day and was receiving phones calls and notifications. But the one thins that I did come to the realization was that most on the notifications were nothing of importance, and the calls that were coming in were calls that could wait till I was free to return them. But here was the issue, when I was with people I did not answer the phone, ( out of respect to the person that I was engaged n conversation with), or did I check the notifications. But what I did noticed was that I was distracted by the phone ringing or the ding from notifications, this would cause me to be distracted from what the person was saying and who knows what I actually missed in that moment. So I decided to remove the notifications, and place my phone on vibrate, now there are certain numbers that was able to set to notify me in the case of emergency but all others goes silent, and the notifications are now silenced. This gives me the ability to put all my attentions to who I am with. It also cleared my mind to focus on things and not worry about the “dings and ringtones “. This morning I had a men’s meeting and then another short meeting and I was not just focused on what was going on but the feeling of freedom, not letting and electronic device control me. I have been in my office now for over an hour and have not worried about or thought about have i missed a call or a notification, but rather, when i had a moment i took a quick look to see was there anything pressing, then back to what I was doing and you know what? I was able to get back on track and continue without having to try to refocus. Just a little win, win testimony for me.

Things are moving quickly
We put our house on the market yesterday yesterday morning by the afternoon, we already had a realtor wanting to show our house to a buyer and then another that evening wanting to video our house for another buyer (most likely our of state). So two showings and the house has only been on the market for 1 day.

Leading a notebook as a life-changing habbit
Hello, Ladies and Gentleman, this post will be about how one simple decision for your own good can change your lifestyle. About notebooks, I have two, one standard A5 for my thoughts, written in my room. The second notebook is smaller, it's for the same purpose, but during work (especially night shifts) or traveling. Everything started four months ago, when I started my white collar job. I was excited at the beginning, but for a time I was getting more and more stressed, exhausted, making mistakes and feeling of pressure led me to bad habits from the past, like porn. Also, I just started drinking alcohol, not like drinking to death, but by buying myself a beer, or just drinking alcohol from home storage, hiding it from my parents. I was feeling bad and depressed. I don't know any 20 yo in my area who went to weekend university and got a job at the same time. I'm always the one who provides maturity and wisdom in my friends group. A lot of bad events were just escalating, like multiple rejections, delayed promotion. Only one thing that's holding me to this day (by inspiration) is the Mad Men series. The character of Don Draper just persuaded me to try wearing a suits without vests, which new style made good impression on my peers at university (especially ladies). I even bought a fedora. During one episode, the protagonist started leading a journal, that made me into writing my thoughts, feelings, everything I has in my head at any moment. This idea was great shot, my written thoughts lead me to stop feeling bad, expressing my thoughts, that lead me into into idea trying to get rid of stress instead of fighting with addictions (cause they start to dissapear with stress), which lead me to succesful pushing forward, rejected my over-working routine I had before, for caring about my skin, diet, habbits and sleep, even finding more outfit inspirations from what I have. That's how one habbit lead to change way of my thinking and living. Cheers

I started a de- digitalization several months ago and it changed my life and one was getting away from using my phone for everything and also using a notebook for scheduling and journaling> it has cleared my mind and also helped me remember things more. and most of all people are impressed when they see you take the time to write things down on paper. I a, proud of you for one identifying and two taking actions. the character of a true gentleman.
