Poll on Arranging Different Machines
Here is a poll for the group. If you have different machines from different lines and in different colors, do you think it matters how they are arranged in a studio? Do aesthetics matter more or workout flow? Let’s assume that a studio is not ordering brand new machines from the same manufacturer or investing in powder coating or painting existing machines to match. For argument sake, let’s also say they all have black upholstery since that is easy to either paint or replace. For reference, I have attached a photo from Strength Studio in Minnesota. I’m not sure if they’re in the group, but I think they have done a good job of combining different machines into a very professional looking space.

Most people don’t care about equipment colours and whether they match or not. If our introduction and induction process for new members is good, they will stay. It’s easy to frame ‘mismatched’ stuff as a feature.
In memoriam: Mike Mentzer
*EDIT: Share your best stories about Mike. Who was he to you? What did you learn? How will you keep his legacy alive?* I propose today’s coffee hour should be in memory of Mike Mentzer. He passed 25 years ago today. I encourage everyone to bring their best stories and what we all have learned from him. Cheers, Jeremy

Update: We have since passed the anniversary of Ray Mentzer’s passing as well. It was two days apart. Mike on June 10 and then Ray June 12. Thank you to the Mentzer brothers.
Ask Luke About MedX Europe
Discover Strength CEO, Luke Carlson, recently visited MedX Europe in Hamburg and spent time reviewing @Eggert Barwich's MedX equipment. I’ll be interviewing Luke on the podcast soon to get his takeaways from the visit. What stood out? What did he learn? How do they compare to other machines? If you have a question for Luke, post it below and I’ll do my best to include it in the interview. Interview is taking place July 1st.

1. What is the most important yet most often overlooked thing MedX EU gets right in general? 2. How does each MedX EU piece compare to the latest iterations of Imagine Strength? 3. Which equipment brands past, present, or upcoming seem to be as good as or better than MedX EU for medical/less physically strong populations? For more physically strong populations? 4. What does MedX EU need to work on the most?
