The ADHD Reset
When I was fIrst diagnosed with Adhd, I was heavy into burnout and saw no way forward but I knew one thing: I was desperate for relief and didn't know what to do. So I turned to one more psychiatrist. An emergency care providor at that, and FINALLY SOMEONE SAW WHAT NO ONE ELSE HAD YET! And I finally had an answer of where to dig deep. At 32, I learned I am Autusitic with Combined Type Adhd. I spents hours a day for weeks taking in everything I could. I was familiar with inatentive ADHD in children thanks to my daughter but I had no idea how many different ways there were that ADHD could show up in different people or that there was even a third type...the combined type. I didnt know that Hyperactive ADHD shows up differently in women than it does in men or that most women have the inattentive type and that women with any type struggle for years with improper diagnoses. Cue me giving the middle finger to every mis-informed psych that told me I was bipolar, unreliable, neurotic, had borderline personality disorder, OCD, GAD, SAD, or MDD. The end result of all this research? A huge influx of self worth for 1, but also a field guide for anyone else who may be navigating similar terrain. A field guide to help the ADHD person of any type to process through burnout and start working WITH their brain rather than against it. And now, that field guide is yours.

@Alison St. Romain Not a bad option, but who ever asked high school boys what they thought?

Skool Community Owners and Classroom Engagement
I am curious what other Skool community owners do with their classrooms beyond creating a course, posting replays, videos etc. What are some fun and creative ideas for using the classroom that makes that space more engaging?

@Rebecca Bautista Easter eggs. That's a very good idea.
My path to Journaling
I used to think journaling just “wasn’t my thing.” Not because I didn’t like reflection, I’ve always been a reflective person only it lived in my head, and every time I opened a notebook, I froze. I just didn’t know what to write about. The blank pages always seemed to interrogate me in a way lol. Everything changed when the fire nation attacked.... LOL I couldn't resist 🔥 Everything changed when I found prompts that actually flipped a switch in me. The kind that jump straight past thinking and into the body. That was the turning point. Once the right questions were there, journaling stopped feeling like a chore and started feeling like a conversation, with myself and with my body. And honestly, I have AI to thank for accelerating that. Having something that can generate, refine, and adapt prompts to where I’m actually at has made journaling a daily anchor instead of a “someday habit." Shoutout to @Frank Palomino for planting the seed by asking me a simple question today: “What’s your favorite journal prompt?” So now I’m curious 👇What’s a journaling prompt that genuinely opened something up for you? Looking to take a step away from the machine and hear what the hoomans have to offer hehe

@Alison St. Romain Thank you for the shout-out! Glad you found that helpful. I am actively taking my own advice right now, this very minute, while I sort through my mother's chaotic paperwork.

ADHD Entrepreneurs: What Helps Your Brain Stay Clear?
Being an ADHD entrepreneur can feel like living in two worlds at the same time — the world of big ideas, creativity, and passion… and the world of overwhelm, physical tension, and trying to keep the wheels from flying off the wagon. 😅 One thing I don’t hear talked about enough is how much our bodies affect our focus and follow-through.When my neck or shoulders are flaring, my brain feels 10x more scattered. Pain = distraction. Over the past few months, I’ve been working on a simple goal:🌿 reduce physical discomfort🌿 simplify my systems🌿 and support my brain so it can actually focus on the things that matter. And honestly? The difference in my clarity has been huge. Curious — for those of you with ADHD:What physical habits or wellness tools make the biggest difference in your ability to focus, get things done, or stay calm? I’d love to swap insights. 💚🧠✨

Great question, @Peter Simmons! I love the ideas that people are sharing. I use a modified version of the Pomodoro technique. Instead of 25 on, 5 off, I do 50 on, followed by 20 off. That 20 minutes off gives me wiggle room to wrap up my previous session, then shift gears into my break time, while still leaving enough time to actually have a break. The math adds up to 70-minute hours, but I'll deal with the wonky schedule if it means I stay focused. Also started adding creatine as a daily supplement. I'm old and beat-up, so I find 15g/day really helps my ability to concentrate.
Using quizzes as leads
Are you a rebel or a upholder? This Personality quiz intrigued me with smart names in response to inner and out expectations. https://gretchenrubin.com/four-tendencies/ Also Goes to show how powerful quiz as a marketing tool to connect to warm leads. Could quizzes fit in your business?

Totally could, yes. Two toughest challenges right now would be to remember that they're an option, then to protect time to work on them.
