Where do we typically spend our mornings? On the feed Eating cereal (sugar) Yawning during Fajr? For the past 6 years, I've perfected a morning routine that has helped me leave my job, learn to code, and grow two businesses Alhamdulilah. I wrote about it in my blog here. Now, we all know there's Barakah in the early hours, but most advice on this is filled with bogus "morning routines" that take an hour to complete. Affirmations, meditation (helpful at times), stretching, journaling... the list goes on. To be completely honest, I struggled with keeping my morning routine consistent until the last 6 weeks of 2025, where I've been the most locked in. Here's what it involves: - Waking up 30 minutes before Fajr - Tahajjud, then Fajr - 500ml of water + electrolytes - 15 minutes of walking outside (rain or shine) - 90 minutes of deep work - It takes me no more than 20 minutes to start my deep work session. The biggest mistake most brothers make is going to the gym at this time. It's actually counterintuitive. You just woke up with peak mental clarity and energy... use this time to get the hardest tasks out the way. Outreach messages. Coding. Building workflows. The things that actually move the needle.
