FINAL JAVASCRIPT SESSION BEFORE THE BREAK
Some of you have already built your first AI apps. I'm genuinely impressed by your progress so far. And in about 4 weeks, we'll be making internship announcements. But here's what's happening first: If you're one of the last 2 cohorts of The Software Engineering Bootcamp... Naureen is running her final JavaScript session before we take a 1-2 week break for the holidays. Giving you the space to build projects, practice what you've been intensely learning, and get your portfolio ready for those internships. No more just watching videos. It's time to build. Once you have your first project completed, use my Calendly link in the course modules (under "Start Here" in the Software Engineering Bootcamp) and we'll start our weekly 1-1s. This is where the real magic happens. This is where we turn your code into opportunities. Weekly 1-1s = accountability, feedback, and a clear path to landing your first role. The students who show up, build, and book their 1-1s? They're the ones who get the internships. Let's finish this year strong.

Habits
Today I was listening to a podcast about habits and how us human are very habit oriented. The podcast broke it into 4 parts. Every habit follows a simple four-step loop: cue, craving, response, and reward. A habit begins with a cue that triggers the brain to act automatically, followed by a craving—the desire for a change in state or feeling. This craving drives the response, which is the behavior itself, and that behavior leads to a reward. The reward satisfies the craving and reinforces the behavior, teaching the brain that this pattern is worth repeating. Over time, this loop runs on autopilot, shaping much of our daily behaviour and explaining why habits—both good and bad—play such a powerful role in our lives.

How to set up a website and start coding with Cursor
Assalamu alaikum, my name is Mikhail and I just joined Shuayb's team as the Vibe Coding/AI Coding Guy (not the real position name). I've been coding with AI since February and since then I've made over 5 websites, maybe over 10 (i've lost track tbh) and released 3 apps on the App Store with over 1.3k downloads combined. And I want to teach you guys everything I've learned since February. Here is my first video. It's very basic and a bit messy (I will improve over time In Shaa Allah). If you want more in depth videos about Cursor (web design, debugging, etc), I will be posting more in depth videos in the Software Engineering bootcamp.

Git/GitHub Cheat Sheet
Since I’m still new to Git/GitHub and learning the workflow step by step, I’ve been using this (comprehensive) Git Cheat Sheet to keep track of the core commands. Thought I’d share it here for anyone who wants a quick reference while building projects. Hope it helps others who are learning alongside me!
