Weekly lesson - JS Iteration is happening in 47 hours
bro, you just need a 6 week plan
We have roughly 6 weeks till 2025 Ends. Many of us aren't happy with the achievements we set out for ourselves, and thats normal. But what most people do is wait for January first to reset, They wait for a khuf calendar to tell them when to start over Don't be most people. Take out your journal (a great habit to do btw), and write 2 things you HAVE to do by Jan 1st. But, make it manageable, realistic, yet exciting - Make your first $500 online - Complete your first 10 pull ups - Memorise a certain # of surah's Build momentum, and watch yourself propel forward when the new year comes around Bismillah. Whos with me??
2 DATA ANALYST INTERVIEWS IN 1 WEEK 🎊
Mohammed wasn't just watching courses and building projects. His relentless build-in-public mentality and showcasing his dashboards on LinkedIn is landing him interviews. This is the strategy we worked together on to consistently land interviews (and soon a role) during the best time of the year - Q4. He's a bit cheeky though. He's been doing copywriting on the side and now writes for his local masjid's newsletter. This goes to show that good copy is a cheat code to selling yourself during a job-hunting process. I was almost unsure if he decided to go full-time with copywriting lol. This is the time of year when companies are hiring like crazy, and he's been keeping his Python and SQL skills sharp for this very moment. More wins to come inshallah. Keep him in your prayers, I can't wait to see him land this role very soon.

2nd mobile app launched on iOS Alhamdulillah
I’ve been working on a few more mobile app ideas alhamdulillah and launched my latest one this week called Salah Tracker. The idea was to produce something to help muslims (reverts, newly practising and also kids) stay consistent with salah…not just the five daily prayers, but also Sunnah and Nafl, prayer checklists. I even managed to add function to show users local prayer times, which was something I didn’t initially plan to have but was ended up being a useful late addition in the build. Some of the features I wanted to make sure it has were that it has, similar to the other app; no ads, no data collection, clean interface and works offline. You can check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/salah-tracker-app/id6753905350 If you do try it, pls do share your thoughts with me & leave a review ❤️ on the App Store, it will help it to reach others who need this type of app inshaAllah!
Alhamdulillah – Landed My First Freelance Client!
Assalaamu Alaikum everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to share some good news that I hope will motivate others, Inshallah. A little background about me: I was working as a Senior UX/UI Designer for a large corporate company, but earlier this year I was unexpectedly made redundant. As tough as that moment was, I can now say Alhamdulillah, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. After months of applying for jobs with no success, I came across this freelance course. I set myself a strict deadline to complete the videos and projects. Honestly, that was the easy part. (So if you’re at that stage, my advice is: just get through it as quickly as you can.) The real challenge came afterwards: finding clients. I applied for jobs on LinkedIn and Indeed, sent personalised messages to people looking for UX/UI or web designers, and joined several Slack and Discord communities dedicated to Muslims in tech. Along the way, I faced countless rejections, ignored applications, and calls that went nowhere. But Alhamdulillah, after months of persistence, I’ve just secured my very first freelance client for a short-term project! If you’re at a stage where you feel like giving up, please know I was in the exact same place. Don’t stop. Keep making dua, believe in your skills, and keep the reason why you chose this path at the forefront of your mind. That intention makes it so much easier to push through rejection after rejection. Think outside the box, opportunities aren’t only on LinkedIn or Indeed. Platforms like Slack and Discord can also connect you with amazing clients. Even beyond that, be open to creative ways of putting yourself out there, you never know where the next opportunity might come from. Another thing that helped me was shifting my focus. Instead of counting how many applications I sent or rejections I received, I just kept going without worrying about the numbers. Eventually, I even forgot about some of the places I had applied to months later, out of nowhere, potential clients started reaching out to me. Most of those didn’t lead anywhere, but Alhamdulillah, one did and that’s how I landed my first client.
ANOTHER W - What happens when you COMMIT!
This brother wishes to remain anonymous so i wont @ him But he is now head of marketing for one of the leading arabic institutions in the online space doing $100,000+ months. He lives in Saudi Arabia and is able to fund his lifestyle and his studies with this major client Allahumabarik. This is what you're rewarded with when you truly commit. And i've seen it with many others from last cohort who cut the excuses and started to see results. We're opening up the final cohort of 2025 very soon. If you want results like this and you're not here for excuses or "maybe next cohort"....this is for you. For those who have been inactive or has shown zero interest in the programmes, or our free courses, or even haven't made an intro post...im sorry but im removing you from this community. No hard feelings. We've built this for people who are here to change their lives. Not to watch others do
