😱 Fear and Greed
💰 Every trader faces them — not on the chart, but in the mirror. Fear and greed are not emotions. They are behavioral forces that quietly rewrite your trading plan mid-session. 😬 Fear makes you exit too early. You see a red candle and think “What if I lose everything?” 🤑 Greed keeps you in too long. You're in profit, but whisper to yourself “Just a bit more…” ❗️ These emotions pretend to protect you — but in reality, they sabotage your trades. They make you overreact, second-guess, and break your own system. ✍️ Emotional discipline is the foundation of any serious trading strategy. You can have the best indicators, the cleanest setup — but if you panic at every dip or chase every pump, your edge is gone. 💡 So what do you do? 🔢 Build emotional checkpoints into your system. Before entering or exiting a trade, ask: “Is this part of my plan — or am I reacting emotionally?” 🔢 Use journaling — not just for trades, but for tracking emotional states. Over time, you’ll spot patterns and triggers. 🔢 Practice "planned detachment." Treat each trade like a statistical event — not a personal victory or failure. 🧠 Fear and greed won’t vanish — but you can neutralize them. Turn your emotions into data — and your edge becomes psychological as well as technical.

@Sukhwinder Dhanoa I have plug shares too. However I pay little attention to plug. I don’t think I will buy more plug shares in the near future.

💻 The Dotcom Bubble!
📆 In the late 1990s, internet companies witnessed an explosive rise. Everyone was investing, speculating, and hyping up the "new economy" — but it couldn’t last. The bubble burst in 2000, triggering massive losses and a market crash. What triggered it? 🔴 Overhyped internet stocks with little to no profit. 🔴 Venture capital flooding untested companies without solid business plans. 🔴 Investors were chasing growth, not profitability. 🔴 The dream of endless tech profits — until reality set in. What followed: 🔢 The NASDAQ lost nearly 80% of its value from 2000 to 2002. 🔢 Dotcom companies like Pets.com and Webvan collapsed. 🔢 Some companies, like Cisco’s shares, still haven’t reached their all-time high since 2000. 🔢 The crash set the stage for the sustained growth in technology that we see today in companies like Amazon, Netflix, Microsoft, etc. What it taught us: ❌ Speculation can create bubbles, but only a few can survive the crash. ✅ Sustainable growth and solid business plans always win in the long run.

If companies with huge bubbles uses the investors’ money (by issuing new shares at peaks) to buy solid assets such as good companies, they may be sustainable.
Why is Iran and Venezuela important?
Over the weekend, Iran's supreme leader was eliminated by US. In the last few months, the president of Venezuela was removed by US. Why are these two countries important? You might have guessed it. Oil. Iran produces and ships 13% of the oil to China. This is shipped through "shadow fleets" which are not publicly disclosed Venezuela ships 5% of its oil to China. While this is not a high number, the friendly relationship between Venezuela and China is important. Think of it like a backup oil suply. This represents almost 20% of China's oil imports (which is most likely understated, as no one in their right mind would honestly report about shadow oil deliveries) By controlling both Iran and Venezuela, this leads to China relying on Russia on oil and going to the public market to buy oil. If you searched up oil companies, they have been going up for the last 3 weeks (which is interesting given that the strike only happened this weekend) - cough cough, insider. The US's military movement on these countries creates an imbalance on power politically, but more importantly, this creates an oil supply shortage for non-Western countries. This will lead to a temporary spike in oil price (and oil companies' share prices) While China mainly relies on coal for electricity generation, a reduction in 20% (or even 30%) of its oil imports will slow down logistics and manufacturing In Investing Accelerator, we will analyze the macroeconomic and the stock market impact at a deeper and more detailed level. That's why the weekly update on the overall market conditions is important. If you are interested in accessing my latest analysis coming this weekend during our regular update, you can join Investing Accelerator here and ACCESS my latest analysis. Remember that sometimes war doesn't mean the market will go down. Cheers, Eric ---- Eric Seto Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)

Thirteen percent (13%) of China oils imports are from Iran. Iran exports over 50% of its oil to China. https://www.google.ca/search?q=china+oil+imports+by+country&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-ca&client=safari#lfId=ChxjMe https://www.google.ca/search?q=iran+oil+exports+by+country&client=safari&hs=OxlU&sca_esv=a19826c6f79ec179&hl=en-ca&ei=6c-jacz7DITsptQPsdPbyQ8&biw=375&bih=638&oq=iran+oil%C2%A0&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIgppcmFuIG9pbMKgKgIIAzIREAAYgAQYkQIYsQMYgwEYigUyERAAGIAEGJECGLEDGIMBGIoFMhEQABiABBiRAhixAxiDARiKBTIQEAAYgAQYsQMYQxiDARiKBTIREAAYgAQYkQIYsQMYgwEYigUyEBAAGIAEGLEDGEMYgwEYigUyBBAAGAMyCxAAGIAEGLEDGIMBSMhdUJkhWPxHcAV4AZABAJgBrQKgAfEJqgEHMy42LjAuMbgBAcgBAPgBAZgCD6ACzwuoAh7CAgoQABiwAxjWBBhHwgINEAAYgAQYsAMYQxiKBcICAhApwgILECkYgAQYkQIYigXCAhAQABgDGLQCGOoCGI8B2AEBwgIQEC4YAxi0AhjqAhiPAdgBAcICEBAuGIAEGLEDGEMYgwEYigXCAgoQABiABBhDGIoFwgILEAAYgAQYkQIYigXCAg4QABiABBixAxiDARiKBZgDGfEFsItsZ4jREb2IBgGQBg-6BgQIARgKkgcHNi44LjAuMaAH_zayBwcxLjguMC4xuAf2CsIHCTAuMS41LjguMcgHkgGACAA&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp#lfId=ChxjMe
