Help a beginner round out their collection!
Hello everyone! I just got into the world of fragrance and am working on adding one or two more fragrances to round out my collection. So far I have: - The One EDP, D&G - Uomo Coral Fantasy, Valentino Right now I’m considering adding JPG’s Paradise Garden and/or ADG Parfum. What else should I consider? Thank you for your help!

Hi Gents What are your thoughts on the collection from the house of Carolina herrera bad boy range or the Ysl Y range if you had to choose a good performing perfume in terms of good smell, performance and longevity One from each of the two designer brands Thank you

I’ve heard great things about the Bad Boys, but they give me headaches (especially Cobalt Elixir). I’d recommend wearing it before buying just in case.
I can’t bring myself to buy anything in a gimmicky bottle
Is it just me? I can’t bring myself to buy any fragrance in a gimmicky bottle. CH Bad Boy line? Oof that lightning bottle. Rabanne one million line? I’d be embarrassed for anyone to see that goofy gold bar in my collection. Same for the Invictus victory cup. I just want a classy looking bottle with a nice heavy metal magnetic cap. This approach means there will be gaps in my collection as I don’t even consider some absolute bangers. Anyone else feel this way?

Some, I love (like any of the Wanted’s). But the 1 Millions, Invictus Victory’s, or Bad Boys bother me too much. Could be placebo or visual bias, so I’m going to try blind smelling some of those again soon. Stay tuned!

One of my favorite pizza places is called Oven Grinder. More on the North side, but they have a fantastic take on pizza (made in a bowl upside down, then flipped onto your plate to serve). Highly recommend also getting the garlic flatbread. http://chicagopizzaandovengrinder.com/ (Also, the debate will always rage on: best Chicago deep dish is Lou Malnati’s in my opinion. Gotta get the Classic or the Lou, both with a sausage patty 👌🏻) I hope you enjoy your visit!
