“Proud Owner Of..”
Every collector has that one bottle.. the one that isn’t just another pickup, but a centerpiece.. For me, it’s not about the price tag alone… it’s the artistry, the blend, the way it stands above the rest of the collection. The one you reach for a little slower, spray a little more intentionally.. The kind of fragrance that reminds you why you fell down this rabbit hole in the first place.. Call it your crown jewel, your signature flex, or simply your most prized possession.. Let’s see them: What’s your “Proud Owner Of” fragrance?

@Jeff Beason Haltane boring, no way. I just got it 6 weeks ago and I’m thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Unexpected Haul
Well, we've all been there I'm sure. Went into my local retailer for the new D&G The One EDP 2025 that finally came in, and ended up getting three bottles. 1. D&G The One EDP 2025 (My only intended purchase) 2. Chanel AHS Superleggera. Had to bring it back into the collection. And would you know it, sometimes Lady Luck does smile upon me. They had just received a single bottle of Boss Bottled Pacific! Back when I tested this one, I found it to be excellent, even if performance wasn't particularly good. But it being long discontinued and very expensive if you found one, never even bothered looking for it. So: 3. Boss Bottled Pacific. Batch code 3048 places it in February 2023. Also got a nice Boss fanny bag included by the rep. Today was a good day!

Good day brothers. Cold day here in southern Wisconsin and heading to physical therapy. Decided after a brief pause to grab for this budget beauty. Interesting that when I first got this it was $42 USD from about a year ago on Amazon. Today it’s listed for $67.10 USD. Most of you here know where I typically go in the frag world as far as my tastes go. This was a partial blind buy due to things I had heard and testing on paper once. Soooo glad I pulled the trigger. Is it perfect? No. But I give this two separate ratings. Price not included I give it a 8.5/10. Price included it’s a 9.2/10. Bright resinous and slightly spicy/sweet. Plus I’m a sucker for plum, tobacco, ylang-ylang and patchouli. Honestly I can’t glaze this enough. Most reviews seem to think this can’t be worn in the summer months but I tend to disagree with that. Well time to go work the shoulder. Be warm and we’ll all. Especially up in the NY area today with all your snow troubles.

John Varvatos - Artisian
John Varvatos Artisan is one of those fragrances that instantly transports you to a sunlit courtyard somewhere along the Mediterranean—citrus trees in bloom, warm air carrying a soft herbal breeze. The opening is bright and cheerful, led by clementine and tangerine, before orange blossom and ginger add a refined freshness that keeps it feeling clean rather than sweet. As it settles, a gentle musk and aromatic herbal notes lend a soft sophistication that feels effortless and approachable. While Artisan has fallen out of my regular rotation over time, that in no way diminishes what a wonderful scent it is. In fact, John Varvatos fragrances were among my very first fragrance purchases, and Artisan helped shape my appreciation for fresh, well-blended compositions that feel both classic and modern. It’s the kind of scent that never demands attention yet consistently earns compliments for its understated charm. Easy to wear, uplifting, and quietly elegant, Artisan remains a timeless warm-weather companion that’s always a pleasure to revisit.

Very good review. The notes in it had my attention for some time but I hear it doesn’t last but a few hours tops and so it slides off my buy list.
SOTD: Montblanc Explorer Extreme
I really love this stuff. Its a nice combo of Sauvage elixir and Absolu Aventus. Reminiscent of Afnan SCE with a lot less of the pineapple opening. I love the smell of ASCE but it has ruined two shirts because it just won’t wash out. So this really scratches the itch and doesn’t destroy your clothing. I do get compliments with this every time. Its a very nice fragrance.

S.K I don’t get the Sauvage elixir comparison, but I do get the supremacy, collectors edition comparison with a little less pineapple. I plan on getting MB extreme in the future.
