Pro Tip #2: The Leaderboard Is More Than PointsāItās a Reputation Score
This week, I shared a Pro Tip #1: Leveling Up in AIS & AIS+ for new and rising members. The post hit home for a lot of peopleābut one reply from @Evely Liva on AIS really stood out: Evely said, āThis is gold, Michael. I started following a few top members recently and instantly noticed a shift, not just in what Iām learning but in how Iām contributing. Itās like plugging directly into the brainpower of the community.ā I was genuinely uplifted to see that Evely and I shared the same experience. How powerful is that? When individual paths overlap like that, it confirms something deeper is happening hereāsomething real. ā”That is when it hit me like a lighting bolt! The leaderboard isnāt just about gamification and rankingā š”Itās a Collaboration and Reputation Signal. When people outside of AIS and AIS+ ask what the leaderboard is all about, I donāt talk about points. I tell them, āIt is my reputation scoreā. Inside this community, we track impact a little differently. The leaderboard isnāt just a gamified meterāitās a real-time signal of whoās consistently showing up, contributing value, and helping others grow. š¬ Itās your reputation scoreāearned post by post, reply by reply. And make no mistake⦠being in the Top 10 means something. š„ Itās a badge of honor and prideāespecially when you realize youāre ranking among the most active, helpful and influential members in a global community of nearly 100,000 in AIS and 3,000 AIS+ members. Wow! Let that sink in for a minute⦠Not for vanity. Not for ego. But because it shows youāre aligned with the heartbeat of the community. ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø These rankings donāt just track output. They reflect: š¹ Whoās building publicly š¹ Whoās taking the time to help others š¹ Whoās leaning in to help others find their voice and superpower within the community. Every time I check where I stand, Iām not looking to competeāIām looking to calibrate. āļø ā¢ Am I contributing in a way that moves the needle for others?
