🎉 today feels like a HALLELUJAH!!!

We had an evaluation for my 2 year old today.

For those that don't know, she:

❤️ is nonverbal

❤️ will only drink out of a bottle

❤️ is delayed in almost every area

❤️ suspected autism but no official diagnosis yet

❤️ has severe eczema

❤️and is allergic to most things

so, navigating how to best help her is more difficult than I ever could have anticipated.

It is full of SO many therapists, specialists, appointments, phone calls, and paperwork.

and today, we had another evaluation and she placed higher than her last evaluation and is showing that while she has some symptoms of autism, she also has skills that are higher than children her age with autism.

🦋They also mentioned that there was a lot of encouraging skills that she has and that she's working towards.

Navigating the special needs world and the medically complex with every evaluation showing negative results is so disheartening. Today felt like a hallelujah. Finally, some positive news. She's making progress. 😭
