on Nov. 2nd my husband and I started fasting (for different reasons) mine was supposed to be a 21 day fast eliminating anything that didn't come from a seed or the ground. I also had a terrible cold that would not go away, and I have to say -
A weight was lifted (stress seemed nonexistent)
Minus the cold (laughter had arrived and moods were overall better)
My body felt better (more energy and less inflammation - PCOS symptoms slowed down)
It was revealed that I struggle with my emotional regulation and now learning how to regulate alongside my kids (a family experience)
Unfortunately my husband gave up and it discouraged me and was tired of the cold - so I slowly started eating more and the cold had finally disappeared. I am still discovering things about my body :
Mornings are my most stressful time if I don't get any quiet time before anyone wakes up.
I am an emotional eater - when Life is busy or im feeling any type - i look for sweets
My patience for nothing has returned (emotional regulation)
I need more sleep than anything
My PCOS symptoms are back with a vengeance and I can actually tell and I warned my husband and my kids last night (I walked on my treadmill for 45 minutes in a mommy's time out).
