@Lucy Hutchings Oh yay! Thank you!
KISS KISS 💋
Okay so confession time. I realized this week why I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed with my skool community and all the things. It’s not just because I offer a lot. I do offer a lot. Like… a LOT. 😂 But the real issue is that I was basically handing people the keys to the whole house and saying Here you go. Kitchen. Living room. Guest room. Backyard. Attic. Basement. Secret Tunnels. Have fun. And meanwhile they were probably thinking Um hi I just wanted to know where the front door is. 😅 That was my "aha" moment. 💡 I don’t need to create more things. I don’t need to add more value. I don’t need to explain everything all at once. What I actually need is ONE clear offer. One starting point. One front door. Then once people are inside and comfortable we can walk into the living room together. No pressure. No overwhelm. One step at a time. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is a peaceful homeschool or a sustainable business. I had everything already. I just needed to present it slowly instead of all at once. So that’s what I’m doing now. Simplifying. Scaling back. Leading with clarity instead of chaos. And honestly it already feels lighter. 😮‍💨✨ Be real with me for a second. Do you feel more stuck because you do not have enough clarity or because you have too many ideas and don’t know which one to lead with Drop it below. You are not alone. 💕💬

I love this, such a great thing to realize! It is definitely tough when we've got so much good stuff to offer that we know can help our members. I saw a quote the other day, I'll have to paraphrase. But it basically said that we find perfection not by adding more, but when there is nothing else that can be taken away. It was a different way of looking at building things then I'd considered before.

@Raym Hardy I wish I could remember where I saw it, and that we could save posts on Skool. I think that it really speaks to me in several ways. It reminds me that there has to already be something there, something consistent before you can perfect it. For a lot of things, I'm still in this stage, doing stuff and trying to figure out what works. But then perfection can happen when you can take things away, to figure out what the most essential parts are to get the result that you want with the least amount of effort or resources. That's where you move beyond competence to mastery. Where I know I sometimes get myself stuck is that I'm trying to pursue mastery or perfection, but I have to have competence first. I think that's part of why this quote stuck out to me so much. It really encapsulated several ideas together for me that had been kind of separate in my head before.
TGIF - Show us your wins using gifs
With the holidays right around the corner (and big things happening behind the scenes), it has been BUSY! but i'm sure you're all still clocking in wins! 👇So, let us know in the comments about your wins (no matter how small) but only using gifs! Let's see if people can guess what your win is 😁

I went from #165 to #95 in discovery!
I just realized I needed to put up a post to celebrate this win! Using my 12 days of healthy holidays challenge, which ended today, and lots of @Michelle McCartney's help, I brought my discover from 165 to 95!! I'm now on page 4 of the health category! I'm so happy and proud right now and I need to celebrate! It was incredibly hard work and I think I need a week to recover but it was worth it! LOL!

💰 Funnel Challenge: Day 4 - Make Sales
Now that you've got some accountability, you created your offer, you did some market research, and you have your funnel mapped out with what you're going to do and how you're going to do it, let's start working it! 👉You're going to do 3 things today: 1. 10 outreaches - Text or DM the 10 people that you think might be the most interested in what you're doing and say "Hey (first name)! (insert RMS statement). Do you know anybody that would benefit from this?" 2. Make content - Make a post on your social media, a video for Youtube, etc. Just put SOMETHING up today (don't wait for it to be perfect) and let people know about what you're doing and invite them to comment a key word that relates to your topic (give them a word to comment, don't make them think about what word to use) in the comments to get the link to your community. 3. Work the funnel, get people into your skool community, and book discovery calls. ⭐The best appointment setting sequence i've found is: Send them the link to the skool community and then send them another message immediately with a this or that question. The goal of that question is to be something that is easy to answer but something you can help with either way. It should be really casual as well so that you can start a conversation. Mine is "i'm curious, are you trying to grow your business or start a new one?". then when they respond, you ask for more information about it. For me, that looks like "oh cool. Tell me more about the business you're trying to start/grow" When they give you more information, you ask what their goals are. When they tell you their goals, you ask them what their biggest struggle is. When they tell you their struggles, you ask if it would be helpful to hop onto a quick 15 min call to map out a game plan for them to hit their goals. When they say yes, you book the call. ❤️Most people who engage with the this or that question will get to the end and book a sales call. 👉Track ALL of your information so that you can follow up appropriately and know your statistics so you know where you should improve.

@Raym Hardy I've switched direction now, focusing on monetizing the manufacturing business with my friend. I am definitely keeping the Cottage going still (I love it too much to let it go), but maintaining what I have rather than focusing on building new things to add for now. Thanks for asking ❤️
