Teach me.

👋 Hey team, I wanted to get some clarity and feedback from the admins.

A recent post of mine was removed, and I completely respect that decisions like this are made with the community’s best interest in mind. I just wanted to ask for a little guidance so I can make sure I’m adding value in the right way moving forward.

In that post, I shared a framework that my company uses internally. I took about 30–60 minutes to rewrite it specifically for this community, and I made a conscious effort to:

Strip out anything that felt like a pitch or call-to-action
Avoid any references to my services
Add an “ask me anything” section to encourage discussion
Position it as me being an open book and resource to the group

Even with that, it seems it still came across as too promotional. That’s discouraging, since I was really just trying to embody the Giver Framework that

teaches... leading with value, not asking for anything in return.

👉 My genuine question is: how do you gauge whether a post crosses that line? What are the signs or red flags I should be aware of? What’s the best way to share expertise (especially when your biggest expertise is naturally tied to the work you do as a service) without it being misread as pitching?

I’m not looking to argue at all... just looking to learn how to better contribute.

I really enjoy this community, and my goal is to share frameworks, insights, and value in a way that fits the culture here.
