Stop Building Random Products. Start Building a Framework.
Here's what I see happen all the time: An entrepreneur builds a course. Then a membership. Then a coaching program. Then another course.
Each one feels completely separate. They're constantly explaining new concepts, redefining their approach, confusing their audience with mixed messages.
Their brand becomes this scattered collection of random services instead of a cohesive transformation journey. Sound familiar?
There's a better way.
The most successful entrepreneurs I know aren't selling random products. They're selling ONE transformation that can be experienced through different pathways.
Think about it:
  • My BLUEprint Framework powers everything from free community courses to 13-week intensives to a SaaS platform
  • Claudine Land's R.E.B.E.L. Method shows up in her 8-week program, her 4-week intensive, her membership, her event co-pilot services, her audits, and even her free resources
  • Marie Forleo's B-School framework has been refined over 20+ years and taught to 80,000+ students across 650+ industries
Same framework. Different delivery mechanisms.
Here's what changes when you have a signature framework:
  • Marketing becomes clearer because you're explaining one transformation, not six different things
  • Product development accelerates because you're packaging your framework differently, not starting from scratch
  • Your positioning strengthens because you become known for a specific, recognizable approach
  • Client success increases because people have a clear path through transformation instead of scattered tactics
  • Your confidence grows because you're deepening expertise in one approach instead of being a generalist
How do you actually create one?
When I teach my clients to develop their signature frameworks, we follow this process:
STEP 1: Name Your Transformation
Get clear on the core transformation you facilitate:
  • What's their starting point?
  • What's the end result?
  • Why does this transformation matter to them?
STEP 2: Identify Your Framework Pillars
Look at your client work and ask: What are the core pillars or categories that matter for transformation at ANY level? Not the steps someone takes — the essential elements that must be addressed throughout their entire journey.
For example:
  • My BLUEprint has 7 pillars (Leadership Positioning, One Customer on a Journey, Stacked Services, etc.)
  • Claudine's R.E.B.E.L. has 5 components (Recognize, Energize, Boundaries, Engage, Launch)
  • Shana Lynn's Community Cultivated has 4 C's (Cause, Culture, Communication, Connection)
Most strong frameworks have 4-7 pillars. Not too few (too simple), not too many (overwhelming).
STEP 3: Map It Across Client Levels
Here's where it gets strategic: Show how your framework applies differently depending on where someone is in their journey.
All 7 of my BLUEprint pillars matter whether you're a brand new entrepreneur or running a 7-figure business — but what you need to do for "Leadership Positioning" looks completely different at Level 1 vs Level 4. This is what lets you create both entry-level and advanced offerings from ONE methodology.
STEP 4: Name Your Framework
Give it a memorable name:
  • Acronyms (R.E.B.E.L., The 4 C's) are easy to remember
  • Descriptive names (BLUEprint Framework, Community Cultivated) clarify the focus
  • Metaphor-based names make concepts sticky
STEP 5: Brainstorm Applications
Now think about how you could deliver this framework through:
  • High-touch delivery (1:1 coaching, intensives, group programs)
  • Community/membership (ongoing practice and support)
  • Low-touch products (mini-courses, workshops focusing on specific pillars)
  • Free content (lead magnets, assessments, toolkits)
Same framework. Different formats and depths.
Your framework is probably already there. You just haven't formalized it yet.
You're already seeing patterns in your client work. You already know what creates transformation. You just need to capture it, structure it, and turn it into something you can use strategically. This is the difference between building a scattered collection of services and building a cohesive business that creates real, repeatable transformation.
Want to see real examples?
I've attached a guide showing 6 real frameworks in action — mine, Claudine's, Marie Forleo's B-School, Dr. Arloski's Wellness Mapping 360, Shana Lynn's Community Cultivated Framework, and Mike Michalowicz's Profit First.
Each example shows:
  • The framework pillars/components
  • How it evolved over time (spoiler: none were perfect from day one)
  • How it's applied across low-support AND high-support products
  • Key insights about what makes it work
Download the PDF attached to this post for the complete examples and inspiration!
P.S. — Your framework will evolve. That's the whole point. Start with version 1.0 and refine it as you serve more clients. Every successful framework you see today started simpler and grew through real-world testing.
