🎉 We Just Reached 70 YAMS Members!
Hey YAMS fam… I’d like to share something that surprised me… When I first started YAMS, I honestly questioned whether anyone would join. 🥺 Not because I didn’t believe in AI. Not because I didn’t have experience. But because years in corporate taught me to second-guess myself. When you’re constantly fighting office politics, defending your ideas, proving your strategies, and trying to convince folks that you know what you’re talking about, it starts to change the way you see yourself. You begin expecting people not to listen. You expect your ideas to be ignored. You expect to have to prove yourself over and over again. Then something interesting happened… I built YAMS anyway. One member became five. Five became twenty. Twenty became fifty. And today… we’re celebrating 70 amazing members. 💛🥹🫶🏽 This community has reminded me that sometimes the story we keep telling ourselves is based on an old environment—not our current reality. If you’ve been sitting on an idea because you’re convinced no one will care… Build it anyway. Share it anyway. Teach it anyway. You might be carrying around beliefs that no longer belong to the life you’re building. 👀 To every single one of you who’s joined, participated, asked questions, shared your wins, upgraded, encouraged others, or simply showed up…Thank you. 🫶🏽 I don’t take a single one of you for granted. I’m incredibly grateful you’re here, and I’m excited to keep building something meaningful together. Here’s to the next milestone. 🥂 -Whit ❤️

Day 348 🔥 in the record books...
Do an experiment... What does ur name show when u click it? Are the blocks barely lit? Are any days skipped in between? Like it or not, they tell a story. Don't like the narrative? Change the story! Showing up everyday is the fastest way to change it. After 348 days I'd like to think I got it down to a science! What do u think? More importantly drop a goal and then drop how u plan on achieving it?

I had to stop building the room before I could name the door
A new Saf Ro Substack post about survival, freedom, and the rooms we mistake for the world. I was working on an interactive piece, but I had to stop. I realized I was asking people to enter the house before I had clearly named the door. So I backed up and wrote the front door first. The post is called Four Walls Is Not a World. It is about the rooms we learn to survive in. The rooms that teach us acceptable answers. The rooms that invite us in because they need what we can provide, then get uncomfortable when we ask if there is a chair for us too. The line I keep coming back to is this: “They do not starve you. That would wake you. They feed you just enough to keep the door looking like a wall.” That is the thing I am trying to name. The difference between survival and freedom. The difference between being useful in the room and being fed at the table. The difference between making peace with the wall and realizing the door was painted the same color. Read THIS if you have ever been useful in a room that did not intend to feed you.

Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or joined recently, thank you for being part of YAMS (Your Awareness Made Simple). Every question asked, insight shared, conversation started, win celebrated, and lesson learned helps make this community better for everyone. What started as an idea continues to grow into a space where folks can learn, build, experiment, and turn awareness into action. But if I’m being completely transparent, this milestone means more to me than just a number. There was a time when I questioned whether anyone would even care about what I had to share. I second-guessed myself. I listened to negative thoughts that told me I wasn’t ready, wasn’t qualified enough, or that nobody would want to learn from me. Today, YAMS is 60 members strong! 🥹🫶🏽 That’s 60 reminders that self-doubt doesn’t always tell the truth. Remember that! One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that sometimes the thing standing between us and the life we want isn’t a lack of talent, knowledge, or opportunity. It’s believing the negative story we’ve been telling ourselves.👀 This community is living proof that those stories can be wrong. If you’ve been sitting on an idea, a project, a business, a community, or a dream that you haven’t started because you’re afraid nobody will care, let this be your sign to start anyway. You might be surprised by what’s possible when you stop listening to doubt and start taking action. Thank you to every single member who has trusted me to teach, share, learn, and grow alongside you. I don’t take that responsibility lightly, and I’m grateful for each and every one of you! 🥹🫶🏽 — Whit💛
