📖 November Novel Writing Month — Let’s Do This Together!
Hey writers! 👋 So, NaNoWriMo as an organization may not be what it used to be — but the tradition lives on. 📝 November has always been the month for writers, and we’re keeping that spirit alive right here in our community. November Novel Writing Month. ✍️ The goal is the same: 50,000 words in 30 days. That’s about 1,667 words a day. — but really, it’s about showing up, building consistency, and watching your story come to life one page at a time. Here’s how we’ll take it on together: 📅 Start prepping now: brainstorm, outline, or revisit that project you’ve been putting off. 🧠 Set your daily routine: pick a time of day to write, even if it’s just 30 minutes. 🔥 Stay accountable: check in here each week — share your progress, challenges, and small wins. 🎉 Celebrate everything: even 100 words on a tough day is progress. This month is about momentum, not perfection. By the end of November, you’ll have a draft that exists — and that’s something most people only dream about. So who’s in for November Novel Writing Month? 🙋‍♀️ What story are you bringing to life this fall?
📖 November Novel Writing Month — Let’s Do This Together!
🎉 Welcome to Week 1 of November Novel Writing Month! 🎉
4️⃣ We're on day 4! 4️⃣ 🎯 This first week is all about one thing: Momentum. Theme: Start strong. Build the habit. Goal: Hit 10,000–12,000 words by the end of the week. 💡 Focus: - Set your daily writing time and stick to it. - Don’t edit as you go — focus on getting words down. - Introduce your main character, their world, and the spark that starts the story. Getting started can feel exciting — but also a little daunting. 🫂 Maybe you’ve been staring at a blank page, overthinking your opening line, or trying to make up for a late start. But here’s the truth: -It’s okay if your start is slow. -It’s okay if you missed the first day or two. -It’s okay if your draft feels messy already. 🌟 Momentum doesn’t come from perfection — it comes from showing up consistently, even for a few minutes at a time. 📣 How’s your week going? Have you discovered any small habits that make it easier to sit down and write?
