This is something I read on Reddit today and found interesting. 🤔
Writer’s block is actually a plot hole.
📃 If you are sitting in front of your word doc, staring at your story and unable to force yourself to go further, you probably have a plot hole, or an under-explored/under-explained piece of lore, or an undeveloped character, or a lack of direction/overarching themes.
In short, you haven’t figured everything out yet, and this inability to move forward is your sign to figure out what that is.
Go back up the line and build the next step that you need for yourself in the current spot in the story.
