📣Question From the Community📣
Hi, I'm a college student interested in woodworking. I have made a few projects, but I dabble mostly in things like boxes, cutting boards, and birdhouses. I want to build something bigger though, like shelves, cabinets, and coffee tables.
Softwood vs. hardwood -- what should I use for projects like these?
I understand that the type of wood I choose can make or break the outcome of my project. Softwood seems more readily available and easier to work with, but hardwood is beautiful and durable too.
I would really appreciate any insights from this community. Thank you!
