As a coach, how do you balance content that is inspired by market research vs content that is inspired by your own creative ideas — unrelated to market research? Do you post your own creative expressions here and there or are you only solely posting reliant on customer data? If a mix of both, how do you balance the two?
Personally, I feel like there's not a lot of creative freedom when posting based on market data but it's tough to know what best resonates with the audience without said data so limitations can exist there as well.
Last week, I did some market research and came up with content in solution to problems that felt instructional and insightful to my audience as I did receive some engagement saying such — yet it felt very creatively limiting for me to some degree. This week I created content that was inspired by my own life experience. While I did enjoy the process more and felt satisfied in my efforts, I took the post down about 1 hour after upload because I wasn't immediately getting the same amount of engagement as I did with last week's post. I'm assuming engagement might've seemed low because of the specific day and time I posted this time as opposed as to the day and time that my previous post was uploaded. I plan to re-post on Sunday without deleting. A lot of my content is reflective in nature.
However, if you've mastered involving both in your work I'm curious to know how you've managed it?
If you have any advice or guidance for me as well, I am receptive.
All/any insight is welcomed and greatly appreciated🥲
