Sometimes ago, I was busy looking for someone to setup a google voice account for me as I couldn't afford a dialer yet and also I'm from Nigeria, so I can't get access to Google voice. I really felt stuck as if I couldn't continue again. I thought cold calling was the only option. And I really wanted to leave it and just forget about it. But I never really wanted to quit. I started for a purpose and I had to continue to fulfill my purpose. That's when I realized cold calling isn't the only option. I made several researches, watched several videos, trainings, learning from the steps of experts and tried to find my own way around everything. I've not done a deal yet, but I've been able to talk directly to property owners, I've been closed to closing, I've built relationship with some cash buyers, listing agents and just trying to find my way and I'm confident within time, everything will start to align. I just have to continue. The only problem is that I don't really have anybody over there to talk to like a friend, a partner or something and which I think is very essential. If there's anybody willing to share the same vision and build a lot together (Better if in the US). On that call, I confidently talked about a property I had bought before. I explained the value, the opportunity, and the profit that came from understanding the numbers correctly. Not to brag, but to show clarity. That conversation built trust. The seller listened differently. The tone changed. The door opened. From that moment, things started shifting. Deals became easier to structure. Conversations became smoother. Confidence replaced hesitation. Here’s the lesson I want to leave you with. Struggle doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. Sometimes it means you’re early. Festive periods create motivated sellers. People want closure. They want a fresh start. They want solutions. If you stay consistent when others slow down, you position yourself for breakthroughs. If you’re in a tough season right now, don’t give up. Stay visible. Stay calling. Stay learning from people who’ve already walked the path. What feels heavy today might be the season that changes everything for you tomorrow.
