WOTD: Seiko Alpinist
Shifting away from the vintage watches, here is the most recognizable of the Seiko collectible watches: The Alpinist.
The beautiful green & gold is very striking. It pretends to be a tool watch with a rotating compass bezel controlled by the lower right crown.
This was a “grail” watch of mine for several years, but one finally popped up at a reasonable price. And now it’s mine.
