Happy Tool Watch Tuesday!
Wearing my new Casio G-Shock Model GW6900-1again today, and boy is this one a toolsy one or what? The specs on this one are incredible. My first wearing of this new Casio was yesterday, when I wore it to physical therapy in the afternoon and remainder of the day to get an initial feel for it. Another comfortable, easy-wearing watch, despite the more imposing size of this one.
From the Casio website → "“This new Solar Atomic model is based on the original DW6900 model, G-Shock’s best-selling case design. With this model, a Solar Atomic Timekeeping system was employed without changing the basic design of the watch. This makes it possible to generate power to keep the watch running with extreme accuracy and minimal exposure to normal lighting. This simple design was achieved by eliminating as much coloring and decoration as possible and the result is a model that captures the essence of the basic G-Shock.”
The impetus for purchasing this one was seeing 's 6900 series watch over several months. After having just recently brought in the amazing Casio G-Shock Model GWM5610-1 of , I was not really in a hurry to bring in another quite yet, but after picking up the 5610 on sale and then watching it almost immediately jump back up over 50% in price, I quickly added the 6900 while it was on sale. For $89.00 with an MSRP of $155.00, this is one amazing piece. - Black Resin Sport Watch Featuring Shock Resistant Construction
