Happy Thoughtful Thursday!
Sharing my final thoughts (to this point) on my new Casio G-Shock Mudman G-9000-1V.
Final verdict — I love this one! With a 46mm case width, this is a substantial watch, but at the same time a very comfortable, all-day wear. The resin strap is very comfortable, and feels durable and extra sturdy for active wear. And I love the double tangs on the clasp for a feeling of extra security. The illumination feature is the best in any Casio I have. And I love the red pushers adding a pop of color while sealing out dirt and grease. Does this have the Multi Band 6 Reception and Solar Power capabilities of my G-Shock GWM5610-1 or G-Shock GW6900-1? No, but with its intended purpose of being a durable and reliable, multi-featured watch for motor sport mechanics and those in the dirt and mud, it more than compensates and holds its own. Will I use it for either of those purposes? No. But then, I don't dive with my Divers, either. 😅
So, all in all, this Casio G-Shock Mudman is a winner! And I have our friend to thank for putting me onto this one. Seeing his incomparable Mudmaster eventually led me to the Mudman. And I love it! Will it be the one to travel with me in November? Well, that remains to be seen.
